Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Gio Urshela is batting .326 the last 11 games with 3 HRs & 8 RBIs and is hitting .414 the past 7 games. He has a 1.173 OPS during this span.
At catcher & shortstop batting roughly .200 the past 30 games.
2B batting around .230 the last 30 games but Merrifield with an on base percentage 100 points higher than Ozzie Albies.
All are amazing stats. Let's keep in mind, the most important stat of all - W's.
Based on our play recently, if we can start getting production from 2B, SS & Catcher, our offense could finally be at the level of play to not only get in the playoffs, but also compete for a championship!
Really wish they could have played last night and today. Felt like they had the momentum on their side.
Piggyback on that RomeDawg. In 2021 the Braves were not better than the Dodgers. But it didn't matter. Rosario hit .500 with all sorts of homers and clutch hits and with solid pitching that was enough.
So yeah get in. Pitch well you gotta have that. And get production from wherever. Couple guys get hot. Bam! you are in the World Series.
SS - Arcia is what his #s say he is - except when he ain't. He has a way of coming up big at (for me) very unexpected times. Thank the lord he can field, or he'd by playing at Rome or Gwinnett.
2B - don't guess there's enough games/time left for Ozzie to get back to his normal self. Whatever he can give, I guess we take.
C - Murph in a slump and TD a bit iffy. If one of them could get warm…..Hard for Snit to play a hot hand when both are lukewarm. Maybe one guy's record vs a certain pitcher or, maybe, even a gut hunch from Snit. Didn't have these worries a C last year.
d'Arnaud hasn't been the same since he had the hit by pitch to his wrist.
Murphy has been mostly cold, and awful bad luck at times with hard hit outs.
Good point. Just another almost forgotten injury. Just because someone is cleared to play, it does mean his injury won't still hamper his playing.
But they still have combined for 23 homers on the year so that's a plus.
Arcia is a streaky hitter. Hopefully a hot streak is just around the corner!
Not worried about Ozzie/ Merrifield. Either will provide a solid bat down the stretch.
Ursehla has played well at 3B. 100 points better OPS after leaving Detroit.
Crazy thing is the Tigers have been on fire since he left. They are going to make the playoffs.
Royals are going to make it too. Which makes me very curious how hard they will play this weekend if they even get the games in. Get the second WC spot you are playing the Orioles. Third one you are playing the Astros. They might prefer one matchup over the other.
Same thing holds in the NL. Finish with the second WC. You're playing the Padres and they are red hot. Last spot you get the Brewers a much easier task.
Way simpler for the Bravos, right? Just play to win everything and get/keep mo going in the playoffs.
