So Alabama does not have any injured players? Just Georgia? Why does Georgia always seem to be beaten up in these games against Bama?

Do any of these “journalists” use spell check or any kind of editing?

I have wondered the same thing about why Georgia seems to have more injuries. It has to be the extremely physical practices. These practices prepare the team for game situations, but the downside is injuries.

IMO, Truthteller….There's been a complete misread on UGA's performance against UK. They were sharpening their short-game and putting weaknesses on film....to work on in the off-week. Standard Kirby Operating Procedure.

The Dawgs were intentionally running the ball into a 7 and 8 man front. And, still moved the ball on the ground. I pity Deboer, today. He's gonna bare the brunt of UGA's wrath.

UGA & Kirby Smart are entering today's game with the best team-health they've had in years against Bama. Not to mention, what i believe to be, a far superior roster...despite the National Media hype machine [as usual, Lol].

When Deboer pulls the curtain back on UGA today….he ain't gonna like what he finds....

    UGA.......38

    BAMA.….17

The Dawgs will operate their offense at-will, when they turn the Playbook to page 3 and start expanding the field of play. And, the defense will shut Bama down in the 2nd half. Milroe, in trying to do too much….will be exposed by the Dawgs and have multiple turnovers.

Kirby won't even have to expose much to Texas, in the "Bama Beat-Down". It's over by mid-3rd quarter. It's a new day, people. Lol

    End of story.

I don't even know how to reply to this, other than "from your keyboard to God's ears". I hope you are spot on. Time will tell, and thanks for the follow up to my question, very much appreciated - it was a legitimate question that received some down votes from some trolls.

No sarcasm directed at anybody but when Richt was here Some fans said they practiced to soft. Now Kirby is here and Some fans seem to be saying they practice to hard. His record at UGA seems to show what he does works the vast majority of the time. Football is a hard contact sport injuries are gonna happen both in practice and games. It is what it is. We’re not gonna win a Natty every year or even every other year. Even Saban didn’t do that. Go Dawgs !!

How bout Lowly KY leading Number Six Ole Miss 10-7 at the half ?? Just shows every Sat. is different. Go Dawgs !!

Fyi...the same UK Team that "took UGA to the wire" a couple of weeks ago....is leading Ole Miss 10-7 at the half. And, they look like a different team than the one S. Carolina disposed of. I'm just sayin'....I think the talking heads and high-dollar Flapping Gums, have it all wrong, wrt to the so-called FPI.

Mainly because, FPI and sports Media base their results & opinions [respectively] on Rankings and Statistics. All I'm sayin' is... you can't do that with UGA. They're made of different stuff.

IMO....Kirby is even less concerned about public opinion than he was before the 12-team CFP. He's not just coaching for today. He's coaching to win today...with an eye on tomorrow...using veteran UGA players [2-4 yr guys].

"Better Never Rests", is no random annual Dawg Motto. And, if you really believe it.…you don't blow every team you play, "off the field". It's not good roster management or Program strategy.

IMO....That's why Kirby has a couple of these so-called "struggle games".…every year. And, usually before a bye week or big game, depending. They are team-builders and necessary, to advance your team's experience level.

Lol....i know how it sounds…like a super fan-atic or something. I assure you…i am not. That's just what I see happening, in Athens. It's been steadily ramping up, since 2017, I could be wrong. We'll see.

funny how our own beat writers have to depend on ESPN for injury updates, what are we doing here guys?🤷🏻‍♂️

  • navydawgnavydawg Posts: 3,504 ✭✭✭✭✭ Graduate

Yep and Ole Miss has home field advantage. Took them all the way till ten seconds left in the third qtr. to take the lead. As I’m writing this KY is driving the ball with a little over seven minutes left in the fourth. Go Dawgs !!
