Shots fired and thank you Josh for standing behind Kirby . Que the generic Sanky response on bad officiating.

I agree with Brooks. The call itself was incorrect at first. There was no defensive pass interference. However, the process and length of time that it took for the officials to reverse the initial call needs a much better explanation. As it stands right now, unless that is done satisfactorily then the officials should be reprimanded and the University of Texas should be fined for its fans behavior.

The Big 12 warned us, it's the Longhorns world and we just live in it. I'm sure in due time, Dawgnation will be incorporated into The Longhorn Network. GATA!!!

I agree with every word Brooks said, unfortunately it falls on deaf ears. Sadly, Sankey and his flunkies won't be held accountable for these bush league tactics.

Mob rule or more likely, just the mob, rules in Austin.

Josh Brooks? I thought that was Drew Carey.

The time to review a call is after the play before the ball is spotted. Speak now or forever hold your peace. What happened at TX was BS. SEC covering for poor refereeing.

As for the actual penalty, ASmith took 2 steps to his left 15 yards downfield to attempt to go around the DB. The DB shifted in front of him and blocked him. That is illegal contact.

"a defensive player can be penalized for "illegal contact" on a receiver if they make contact with him beyond the first five yards from the line of scrimmage." "Any contact that significantly hinders the receiver's ability to run his route or make a play on the ball" beyond 5 yards is a penalty.

one thing that college football needs to address is the targeting rule. How is it that only the defensive player can violate it? In both targeting calls, the offensive player dropped his head—leading with the crown of the head. Both players did it, but only the dens I’ve player is ejected? If this is for safety, then enforce it on both offensive and defensive players.

The Refs make bad calls and miss calls that appear obvious all the time. That's just human and part of the game...always has been. I haven't agreed with every call...that's for sure.

That being said....when a bad call is made or a call is missed....I gripe about it and move on, like everybody else. I don't expect the call to be reversed or overturned.…because, that's been the rule, since before I was born.

This particular instance, is the baseball equivalent of changing a ball to a 3rd Strike...or changing a strike to the 4th Ball.

Now.…the Fans have the Power to overrule the Refs. One time per year, so, use it wisely It's called a "Fan'trum" and can be used to scare the officials into changing a decision....by holding the players and coaches of the Visiting Team hostage to a downpour of bottles, bricks and whatever.

It'll cost the School about $250,000...which is no problem, as long as the projected expense is included in the budget.

That has been established and there's no "backsy's". It WILL be tried again, unless the hammer falls...this time. And, it won't.

IMO....You make a bad call....you must stick with it.…for the very reason we see, right in front of us. The integrity of the game, is in question, now.…not that it wasn't before…IMO...Lgol. And, rightfully so. I've seen some sketchy things, going on in recent yybears.

I'm know, those things always happened…..But...With the explosion of the Internet, Replay, Sports Betting and free money....the frequency of those occurrences has increased drastically. Even the Replay Official and "Expert in the Booth" are getting in on the action.

There needs to be a 3rd Party investigation into the possible relationship between CFB Betting, Officiating, The Sports Media Empire, NIL & College Administrators. I don't trust any of em.…and, there's not a whole lot of oversight.

We're supposed to rely on those people, to employ the "Honor System" with Integrity? Lol....gimme a break! A
