"This is the future of our program"—-Then why don't they get to play?

CB at his worst is better than GS at his best? Or at last what CKS sees in practice.. Not sure what that says for a QB in his 3rd year with a program that he cant see the field even when the starter is puking. Doesn't bode well for next year in this conference when there are less easy games. Just throw a guy out there with little and I mean very little experience.

Some have even suggested that with CB doing damage to his draft stock he might return for another year. I don't think he will if he plays better from here on out. But if he doesn't we could see him for another year. I'm assuming he would get another 2 mil NIL if he returned to work on his draft position.

Beck got exponentially more snaps prior to starting due to the blowouts the dawgs had going into the 4th quarter. Heck, this is true for almost every position group where the 2’s play weekly, but the 3 and 4s are not getting the game experience.

Yes, next year will be another potential QB controversy season as Kirby tries to figure out which QB to start. We're getting some quality receivers coming in which is very promising.

I really hope Beck moves on if, in fact, he has remaining eligibility. If he doesn't leave then I do expect at least 1 or maybe 2 of those backups to hit the portal...maybe even Gunner.

Time for a new and different style QB.

OK I’ll confess up front I’m biased. I’m a Gunner Stockton fan. So for me Unless one of the other backups is Clearly better and I mean Significantly better then it should be Stockton.

However I’m More of a Team First guy, I’ll fully support whichever QB that Kirby and staff say is best. Go Dawgs !!

NIL is changing the game and taking away the "team" aspects because you now have some players earning significant cash while others right next to them do not. NCAA has lost a bit of its appeal…Just like in Olympics. Amateur? Hardly.

also a Stockton fan. But as a coach, all things being equal, would probably go with a QB which might give you more seasons behind center.

I too, am a Gunner fan. He can do it all, including run. This game looks to be a wet one. No better time to come out with a different "look" and run Gunner every 5th play. The guy is tough, just ask Malaki!

Don't get me wrong.I have always liked Carson, but, maybe he could share some game time, and the team benefit with a guy playing that's a run threat...in the rain..Go Dawgs!

The point I have always made is that sometimes it would be wise to bench CB to allow him to refocus/re-motivate. This would give Gunner, et al at least 3 snaps…hopefully more…..a win/win experience…as CB knows he'll get another opportunity to show improvement……..how many times does the Captain run aground before the 1stLT takes over?

Unless Beck is injured, Coach Kirby is going with him. I too want to see Stockton get some field reps., but that will likely not happen unless UGA is up three scores in the fourth. I am predicting a 21 to 7 game…UGA. Somehow cannot see Ole Miss scoring much. Defense…defense…defense!

I agree this game will pull the Vegas under. But guessing more of a 24,-17 unless the dawgs get a late defensive TD
