No, the loss isn’t on Beck alone, it most certainly was a team lacking effort but this I do know, Milroe says hop on my back and I’ll carry you with my legs to victory, Bama. Dart says hop on my back and I’ll carry you with my legs to victory, rebs. Gabriel says, well you know. Carson on the other hand says give me a big safe pocket and 5 seconds to make my reads and I’ll try to make the right choice, anything less than that and you’re on your own dawg fans. Let me sit over here on the bench and laugh with Rashada trailing 22-10 with 3 and a half minutes left. Don’t bother me, Kirby has faith in me.

"I think the teams that can handle that the best will move on, and they’ll be the teams that end, and we just want to be one of those.”_____Starks

IMO....The Dawgs have fortunately played a 14 to 15 game season, for the last several years....so, they should be used to it. Lol

"We just want to be one of those."?.....hmmm. What happened to "We practice to beat everybody." & "Either, you're elite or you're not." or "Better Never Rests"?

I think Starks knows something, that we don't. Maybe they are as good as they're gonna get, this year. Lot of youth and talent. I don't get why some position group hasn't progressed as expected.

You don't want a team that depends on "one player", to win or lose. Milroe lost a couple this year...and, so did Dart.

IMO....The way the Dawgs have played during their most inconsistent and challenging performances.…it's almost impossible for a fan or media expert to accurately distinguish between "Team Error" and "QB Error".

It makes critiquing the quarterback position useless, without the information coaches carry so close-to-the-vest.

That said....Beck appeared to be preparing to take a hit, on almost every drop-back, Saturday. It seemed to effect everything, from his footwork & release, to his reads & protection....to his confidence & timing. Makes me wonder....was the o-line compromised in some way?....other than taking a few, on the chin. Lol

Go get em Big Red!!! T'aint over till the fat lady sngs....and she ain't even a'warmin' up yet. 😁 Unfortunately, for Tennessee....the Dawgs lived Saturday, to fight another day. Word is....this Saturday will be that day. I pity da' fools.

Didn't meet the standard this week. No juice. Georgia will decide this week if it wants to be a champion or if the old rings are enough. 'No where to run and no where to hide' except now it's us. . .

Its not a Beck problem, it's a coaching issue.

Stetson Bennett told us it was the Jimmy and Joes and not the X’s and O’s and that’s showing up this year. The defense lacks playmakers like Tykee Smith, Chris Smith and Bullard on the back end and no interior pass rush. The offense has no true playmakers especially at the QB position. KS needs to look to his mentor, Nick Sabin, who figured out late in his career it was better to have a playmaker at QB rather than a game manager.

Our OFF COORD is not even in the same league as TODD MONKEN and countless others.

He can't even find a way to open holes for RBs and that happened last year too. The RBs are making big gaines on almost just talent alone and that is not good for our future!

IMO....A "Game Manager" is more reliable, consistent....and, most importantly...replaceable than the lone wolf quarterback. But that only works, when you have "player makers" around him.

I think that's preferred, to having "one guy" that shuts the post-season door, if he gets injured. Look what happened to FSU last year.

Every year....it seems there's "that team", that gets hyped to the 9's, based on the Quarterback's play....and, every year, a team misses the Playoffs or a Bowl, because their QB went down. The way Kirby stocks and trains QB's...the Dawgs shouldn't have that problem.

Just as it was with Bennett...there's a reason Stockton hasn't gone in.…and, it could be the o-line. But, that's not a Given. Either way.…with UGA's complicated offense and limited availabilityof skill players...they still "need", a Game Manager.

Afterall....a "Game Manager" is another name for reliable on-field coach & pigskin delivery system. Lol. But, it requires "play makers" at other positions.

I haven't seen him play, much....but, Stockton may give the Dawgs an edge, that Beck can't or won't give. If Gunner can run the ball better and is proficient with all the plays, that is.

Right now, IMO....Beck's confidence is on the line. And, Smart can't afford to play Tennessee as conservative as he did Bama & Mississippi. If Beck doesn't produce, in the 1st half of the Tennessee game, look for a 2nd half QB change.

Playmakers can be reliable, but they give the offense another weapon that makes it very difficult on the defense. Stetson Bennett was reliable, but he had the ability and mentality to be a playmaker. Playmakers have the confidence in their athleticism to beat a defense in addition to their arm. The book on Beck is to get him to move his feet and he’s inaccurate and interception prone.

Everything you said, is true. It's not that I don't love watching the Michael Vick's of the world, tear it up on the National stage. I do. Lol.

However, a "running quarterback's" exposure to injury is greater, with every carry. I'm just saying....it's riskier. But, that risk can be reduced if you have an adequate backup.

For whatever reason...Bobo and Smart seem reluctant to turn Beck loose. And, i don't think Stockton has a whole lot of quality reps under his belt. Which makes you kind of wonder....what the backup QB situation looks like, in reality?. There must be a reason, Kirby is playing it, this way.

Bama would have 2 more losses at least without Milroe. They will be a tough out in the playoffs. The problem with Georgia is consistency. They can beat any team in the country one week, and lose to someone they are more talented than, the next week. They are consistently inconsistent!
