I wanted to see a replay of the facemask… and they later showed it was clear facemask, good call. On the 12-man, I was barking for a flag as it was happening… another good call, albeit delayed. Heupel seems to be a natural whiner… I hope it doesn't get worse, as we have enough of them in CFB. Go Dawgs!

The face mask call was legit. The last video of the tackle clearly showed his L hand pulling up the helmet. Heupel will see it and say-"yeah that was a facemark".

Heupel is irritated ?? Put some ointment on it he’ll be alright. Go Dawgs !!!

For the face mask, honestly, if the roles were reversed I would have said “ok, I can see that call” because of the way the tackle happened and the fact that the helmet came off. It’s not reviewable so in the moment, correct or not, anyone makes that call (and it was the correct call).

The 12th man was close but it was correct. That guy was taking his sweet time so, rather than being mad at the refs, I’d have been all over my lineman for being lazy.

And they have to do something about these fake injuries. I liked the comment about sitting out the series. I think next year brings a change.

Apparently Lumpy Rutherford had not had the chance to see the final replay of the face mask penalty. It was a clear penalty and the right call. As far as the 12 man penalty, how about subbing a D lineman that doesn’t weigh 375 and waddles instead of runs.

What? He didn’t want to talk about the missed roughing the kicker or the kick catch interference no call?

Typically hillbillies. It’s never their fault.

The face mask call was ticky-tak but legitimate and the 12 men was legit. The call on Arian Smith was legit - he can’t extend his arms to get separation; it’s the same thing they used against him vs Texas.

I've watched the OPI play several times now, and there wasn't any meaningful contact. Both the receiver and the DB are allowed to put their hands on each other; it happens on just about every play. There has to be an actual push to call interference, and on that play, there just wasn't. The separation came from the fact that Smith knew where the ball was going and stopped running before the DB did. It was a bad call.
