Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

The short answer is no. Our head-to-head over TX would put us above them if they lose next week, and so would aTm’s.
Yes.
Man, yall remember two weeks ago when it was going to be chaos? It’s actually shaken out pretty simply with OM and the Bummers wetting the bed this week.
If we lost the SEC championship against Texas (and didn't play absolutely horribly), I think we'd be in. It wouldn't make sense to penalize a team for making the conference championship game.
Big caveat: I'm not confident that the committee is capable of making sense!
Yeah, the problem is that history is not on our side on this one. Last year: undefeated regular season; close-ish seccg loss; bye bye UGA. 12 teams should brighten that scenario, but I’m not holding my breath.
The history is that leaving Georgia out last year was fair — given the argument for the four teams that made it. The only thing that was unfair last year was that people actually took Mike Norvell's whining seriously. FSU at 13-0 was not too different from 13-0 Liberty.
Leaving UGA out this year after a close-ish SECCG loss would definitely be unfair.
