Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Kirby Smart provides update on status of Colbie Young following return to practice
ATHENS — Georgia coach Kirby Smart clarified where things stand with suspended wide receiver Colbie Young during Tuesday night’s press availability.

Clearing him the Monday after the SEC Championship game is not fair to the kid IF he did nothing wrong.
Since he's a senior and has been unable to play for most of the season does he get another year of eligibility?
Not if he played in more than 4 games, unless the petition for a hardship or something like that.
I’m not 100% certain, but according to the ESPN site he played at Miami during the ‘22 and ‘23 seasons and UGA in ‘24. If that’s correct then he would be eligible to play for the Dawgs in ‘25 and It doesn’t appear he has been redshirted. I’m curious if he has exhausted his eligibility if he could petition the NCAA for a hardship like players who have been injured after a few games have been able to do. I personally thought he was a “one and done” and would declare for the draft, but now things have changed drastically so I guess we will have to stay tuned. Go Dawgs and good luck Colbie!!!
