ATHENS — Steve Sarkisian has been here before — in the SEC Championship, and coaching in Mercedes-Benz Stadium — albeit, not in the role he currently holds.

    Let's look at some defensive numbers as well:

    Rushing Defense: TX #12; GA #44

    Red Zone Defense: TX #3; GA #75

    Total Defense: TX #3; GA #35

    Scoring Defense: TX #2; GA #25

    We have played a much tougher schedule so that can affect these rankings a bit, BUT clearly Texas has a more potent overall defense at this point. We were able to score 30 on them last time with Beck still throwing 3 interceptions. I don't anticipate that kind of blowout game Saturday.

    Let's go bring that SEC championship home! I know I do not need to say this, but I will anyway. Bring your A+ game Dawg fans! Give Texas hell when they have the ball! Let's f'n go!

    GO DAWGS!

    BEAT TEXAS!

    Sarkisian is a very good coach there’s no doubt about that. Yes he’s Coached in the Benz at NFL level. But he’s never played in the Benz. Dawgs have players who have.

    And Sark’s players ain’t in the NFL yet. Lastly Kirby has coached in high level games there many times. Next lastly Lol, because of pure travel logistics I’d think there will be more Dawgs fans there than TX fans.

    Next to next lastly double Lol, probably the best team that TX faced in regular season was the Dawgs and the Horns lost. Dawgs Can and Will beat them again !! Go Dawgs !!

    Gosh just went back and took a look at TX schedule, the toughest game they had outside of the Dawgs was MI at Ann Arbor !! So early that MI was a fairly easy kill. If TX played the same MI that just knocked off Ohio St. might be a much more daunting task.

    Looking over their schedule TX has only had the Dawgs and Maybe MI as true tests !! I don’t count TAMU as they have been very unimpressive all along. Toughest games TAMU had was Notre Dame, South Carolina and TX. Dawgs Can win this game just go out there and take care of business !! Go Dawgs !!

    "Texas-Georgia SEC Offensive ranks"……against a much weaker schedule, The Longhorns have the stats. Offensively we're even, defensively statistically out matched….unless we play with "want and desire to win". If Dawg Nation floods the Mercedes-Benz Stadium like I'm thinking, give The Dawgs the home field advantage…..no one will admit it but we have been planning on a rematch since the Oct game in Austin…..I expect to see a huge increase in the "Bobo Play Book Creativity" and a defined honing of our defensive successes from Oct. The Dawgs will win and take the #2 bye.

    @GtheGreek

    I hate to be the one to break this to you but Bobo and creativity cannot coexist. Sorry
