Can we put Arian Smith on the bench and put in a receiver who can catch? Asking for a friend! Go Dawgs!

Etienne needs to stay on the bench this game. Ribs take forever to heal.

I agree that our worst defensive performance is after we get them to 2nd / 3rd and long. We gave up chunk plays on 3rd and longs not just in the Tech game, but in previous games also. We must solve that and be able to get off the field after 3rd and 5+ if we hope for a win this Saturday.

The first thing we need to do os to stop vacating the middle of the field on 3rd and long. that has killed us all year long. We need to also be comfortable with playing a base defense when the situation calls for it.

Execution. No matter who is out there playing the key will be playing up to their capabilities and the coaching staff putting them in position to do it. Catch the ball. Tackle.

Looks like it will be Nate, Cash, Roderick and Branson with hopefully Chauncey and Peanut…..love to see Arian jet sweep but I'm wondering who's faster, Nate or Arian??? Our WR room is good, just need some "stickum" and lots of input by the TE's….call out for Big Ben from Bakersfield to make a statement! Any chance Colbie gets in…asking for a friend??? Expect to see O-Line and D to keep the previous standard set in Austin….lastly, no INT's from Carson!

I may be wrong, but it’s my understanding that Colbie can’t be legally cleared until his arraignment next Tuesday (12/10). Bummer, but hopefully he will be cleared and with us for the playoffs. Go Dawgs and good luck Colbie!!!

I'm sick of using Arch Manning and some iteration of the former Arch Manning earlier as a mystery QB. Also, Etienne probably will not play as rib injuries (cracked) take a "minute" to heal…been there myself. Philips (Peanut) would be good against TX tight formation. Kid is quick and darty. Use Cash to throw to. R Robinson …uhmmm… a non factor this game. IMO. Branson R, Have no idea. I know one thing you need speed against the Texans. Should be a fun game for Carson.

    Etienne is the key, period.

The defensive line health and defensive performance against Texas is going to be baked in.

If Beck doesn’t have the best RB available that was 90% of the offense in game 1, no sugar coating is going to make up for that.

Why? Because all Texas has to do is pin their ears back and rely on their strong front 7, who are all healthy, and play the odds which will overwhelmingly be in their favor.

🙏 that they have Eteinne, or it may be a slow and painful death.

Etienne's availability will likely depend on his pain tolerance. How badly cracked are his ribs and how much can he stand the pain? Players, even running backs, have played — and played well — with cracked ribs. But they have to deal with the pain. But I honestly don't think our offense is the key — provided Beck doesn't throw three INT's again. It's on the defense. If they can stop or at least manage the Texas running game, and get pressure on Ewers or Manning, the Dawgs have a chance. But I'm not hopeful because Texas is extremely motivated not only to avenge their previous loss, but also to prove to the world that they can handle the SEC and it's current standard bearer, the University of Georgia. We'll see. Go Dawgs!
