Georgia loses running back commitment to Florida State on Signing Day
ATHENS — Georgia has suffered its first de-commitment of the day, as running back Ousmane Kromah flipped his commitment from Georgia to Florida State.

FSU…really?
FSU MUST OF OPENED THE BANK
He will be a star at Failing State University, 3rd string at best as a DAWG RB..enjoy Tallahassee young man..GoDAWGS!
63-3 FO-evah!
Haha... what?
I must admit that losing him to FSU is surprising, although a MUCH better outcome than losing him to Auburn or any other SEC school. Norville is fighting for his coaching life in Tallahassee, so he's opening up the bank.
Kid I'm worried about now (besides Justus Terry), is Talyn Taylor. I'm bothered that we're this late in the day and he still hasn't signed. I hope my fears are unfounded, but considering our history with 5-star wide receivers — or lack thereof — I'm edgy. Go Dawgs!
Liked his size but he didn't strike me as especially fast, quick or elusive. Not especially disappointed to see him flip. Makes you wonder if ETN, RRob and BRob are coming back (which would be a surprise). Pick of the RB litter from the TP?
Article states the 3 have eligibility left, it would be nice if all 3 return. With those 3, Fraizer, Phillips, Bowen, and B. Walker, that would be a potent RB corp. So, I doubt he'd see the field much, if at all, his freshman year, with those players ahead of him. He should be a star on an underpowered offense at fsu, IF the OL can open holes to run through.
IF the OL can open holes to run through.
These star players sometimes seem to not think through that point enough…..a la Dylan Raiola, e.g.!
Go Dawgs!
I guess he figures to be a big fish in a microscopic pond. Even at that he’ll probably be lost in obscurity at FSU. Their program is not a sinking ship…….. it’s already sunk.
I agree with what you say. UGA had 7 guys to start the spring but 1 guy transferred (Paul) then the injuries happened. Not sure even 7 is enough. IMO ETN did not elevate his draft position this season. RRob has only been on campus 2 years and BRob has not shown he is an NFL RB yet due to injuries. They all need to come back. Frazier looks like a solid player. The jury still out on the other 3.
Kromah may still be in play. Reported to have not signed yet. Reminds me of '24 RB recruit Kam Davis Albany, GA. Really wanted the GA kid and he went to FL St. Looked for him this year and he didn't do much for FL St. In 9 games 52 carries, 3.3 ypc and 0 TDS. As ETN and Frazier have proven RB's are pretty much plug and play. You just need to have the numbers to field some healthy backs.
'26 is supposed to be a bumper RB recruiting class.
FL St is down now but it is still a "name" program willing to spend big for transfers and recruits. It is also in a great place to play (would you rather be stuck in Minnesota?) . I don't know what happens to the ACC but you have to think that FL St would be attractive to the SEC, BIG10 or BIG12. They will be back. May take a new coach.
Looks like Taylor has signed. Guess DN has called it a day?

Not heart broken about Kromah I also was underwhelmed by his tape. I do hate that we couldn’t flip his teammate on the DLine who went with FSU. Rated by some as a a day 1 starter.
best WR haul in years
This dude was never a commitment. He can be the bell-cow back on a losing team. With a coach on the verge of being fired. I doubt if UGA will miss a beat.
