BVG looks really good in that highlight package. Big time weapon when you have a QB that can run, move the pocket and throw on the run with accuracy and zip.

BTW, Jackson Meeks was 2nd team All-ACC this season. Kojo Antwi OSU WR enters the TP. With 1 catch for 6 yards in 3 seasons at OSU why is his name even coming up?

To me, bringing in another QB via the portal would only hurt UGA's future. Why do you need 5-6+ QB's on a roster? You can only play 1 of them at a time. Eventually someone's feelings are going to get hurt because of sitting instead of playing, enter the portal, and transfer. I'd hate to lose any of our future QB's by taking a portal QB with 1-2 years of eligibility remaining. DAWGS already have a full QB room with Stockton, Puglisi, Rashada, and they also signed Montgomery, and Millender yesterday. Giving the DAWGS 5 scholarship QB's on the roster as it stands now, and thats not including Beck.

Lotta questions regarding the QB position. Is CBeck still going to the NFL after his up and down year? How far has his draft stock fallen? Is he worth another $3M in UGA NIL to come back next year? It was unimaginable that CBeck would come back in '25 at the beginning of the '24 season. Now? It seems likely.

Will both Rashada and Stockton return in '25? Stockton probably yes. Rashada probably no. Maybe neither returns if Beck comes back. If Rashada (and Beck) leaves UGA has totally inexperienced options left should running QB Stockton get injured. Are either vet QB ready to play championship level ball? Does UGA go through a rebuilding year and give up competing for the National Championship in '25 due to the schedule and a not ready for prime time QB (sans TP addition or Beck return)?

With all that said, UGA could add a vet QB option through the TP if Beck leaves. Seeing reports that UGA is interested in TP OU QB Jackson Arnold. There were times this year when I thought he looked really bad. As bad as it gets at the D1 level. Transferring because he lost his starting job.

Manning and Stockton are evidently light years apart at the moment. Sark has readily used Manning and by all accounts will use him in the biggest game of the year so far on Saturday. Kirby wouldn't let Stockton sniff the field during Becks interception barrage, not even for a series. Saban brought in Tua in a game we all but had wrapped up provided HUrts stayed in. It changed everything.

So, Tua had to of been showing out in practice for Saban, of all people, to bring him in. Contrast that with Kirby toally unwilling to give Gunner anything but mop-up time to me speaks volumes.

I'm not suggesting that Gunner is a better choice even in Carson's worst moments, but I do think it is telling when compared to Arch Manning and the confidence Stark has in him.

We all knew how UGA courted Manning and his talent, and his team obviously thinks he's a dude when he gets in.

More than anything if CB doesn't return then we will be going to war in this new SEC gauntlet with pretty much a totally inexperienced QB next seson.
