Wish you well Julian, you're back home…… you didn't make it as a DGD, but I'm sure you'll make it as an Aggie…..Ball Out and Horns Down!

Happy for him. If he ever learns to track the ball and turn his head he has the other skills to be an NFL corner.

Too much competition here and I've heard the other guys behind Harris are getting better Ondre and Ellis. So his window was closing here. Feel bad for him and he will be missed. Pretty sure we will see him in 2 years when we finally play TAMU at their place.

Good luck dude you will be missed.

I do not blame young players for "returning home." I do when they leave in the midst of the championship battle. The portal should not be opened so soon! However, having said that, Julian's heart had already abandoned Georgia for Texas. He was being slowly out hustled in his position….maybe he will do better with A&M?

Best of luck young man..no big loss for UGA with more talented DB'S on the roster..GoDAWGS!

Do we play A&M within next two years? If so, we know where to throw to.

the TP has to be open before January 1 to allow for STUDENTS to register for classes. Unfortunately the sport has morphed into more money less classes and doesn’t feel like it fits into a schools academic calendar.

Good for him, he gets to play closer to home. Hopefully he'll have a great game vs Utx next year

I'm only sorry to see him go because we're not deep at his position. Otherwise, I wish him the best. I don't blame him at all for doing what he believes is in his best interest by hitting the TP early.

The fault rests entirely on the NCAA for opening the TP while the season isn't over.

It distorts decision-making in too many bad ways to count. One of those is that it creates an incentive to make to abandon your team when you're most needed. Another is that it causes roster changes in the midst of the tournament — precisely when you want the best versions of all teams to be playing each other.

Part of growing up is making difficult choices. But it's plain wrong to create a landscape that unnecessarily creates a dilemma for players who would otherwise play their hearts out and declare for TP after the tournament.

Simple solution: Transfers only happen in the spring so transferring players don't get to go to spring practice.

In addition to ending this **** predicament for players on tournament teams who want to transfer, it would serve as a bit of speed bump on transfers-gone-wild.

I suppose it could be challenged as a restriction on a player's ability to get value for his services. But there are ways around that problem — if only the powers at the NCAA focused — and thought things through for a change.
