I get it with this one. He was the man but someone was better. It doesn’t necessarily make him bad, just not as good as.

And please, do you have to use the same tired quote “We’re always talking and dealing with our players…..” in EVERY portal story? We get it. At this point you are simply using it to make your story longer. Is there a word quota? Just please, stop already.

I wish him a good life, but I hope he’s not eligible to receive an SEC championship ring and our upcoming Natty rings. Just saying. Go Dawgs!!!

The colleges can modify the registration process to accommodate transferring athletes; it has been done before for other reasons such as natural disasters like hurricanes. The problem lies with the NCAA and their dictatorial grasp on college athletics. They seem to decide issues and make policy with the total absence of logic.

haha can you imagine going to a school who’s colors are gross maroon and white? They don’t wear those black unis hardly ever lol

Understood. Yet those going in after the CFP is over are ALSO "students"... so the "crazy" comment remains 🤠

This is actually a really good idea... would certainly bring some order and discipline, and also mean that players don't get left out by doing the right thing for their current teams 🤔👍

I'm not going to hate on just this kid for leaving now — the story says that the Dawgs have had seven (7) hit the portal so far, so Julian is certainly not alone and shouldn't be called out for that. I call him out for the way he played. He always defended a deep pass as if he was fighting off a swarm of bees. If he's the #2 DB in the portal, it must be a weak portal. And yes, the TP opens when it does so that kids can enroll for the following semester. But the only reason that matters is that the NCAA (for now) requires players be enrolled in classes to play. Believe me, the players themselves probably couldn't care less about being enrolled in school. For 99 percent of transfers, they are NOT there to get an education.

I hope the aggies grow accustomed to PI calls against Humphrey when the ball is thrown in his direction. It has happened numerous times this season playing for UGA.
