- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

ATHENS — The promo headline screamed off the national college football page Tuesday night:

I hope Stockton is an improved version of Stetson. Certainly has the athleticism and height. That said, the pass he threw to Texas almost costing UGA the game was beyond bone headed. Hope he never does anything half that **** on a playing field again.
Well said, top to bottom.
It's also worth noting that we didn't "lose" Thomas… we dropped him. And I guessssss a person could say that it was before the playoff, since literally everything that has gone on this year technically happened before the playoff…
Spinners gonna spin…
Rece Davis is another clueless espn "expert"..nothing more.
BOOM!!!!! MG on a mission!
Go Dawgs! Hate on Everybody!
Nuff said!
We’ll see, and I don’t want to kick an injured man, but Stockton may have that certain “it” to push the team higher. That factor that Stetson had and the team seemed to be missing.
Well said, Mike… Georgia rarely gets the credit it deserves, which while routine, still bites because it likely cost us an historic 3-peat last year. My only bone to pick is your assumption we'll fully use the extra time to completely prepare… I hope that's the case (as was in last year's thumping of Florida State and TCU the year before), but we've also shown a propensity to be suprisingly sluggish and predictable on the heels of byes/breaks. I'm going with the stoked version, and Georgia dispatching the naysayers, one-by-one, to #1 for the 3rd time in 4 years. Go Dawgs!
Simply magnificent Mike!! Kudos sir, and thanks for a wonderful pre-Christmas read with my morning cup o' Joe.
I hope we're under DAWGS in every game going forward. When they doubt us, we rise up and pull out the "W.". Give Gunner 3 weeks to acclimate to being the "man," and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. There isn't any significant film on him that shows a true game plan tailored to his specific strengths—that helps us, at least in the short term. I believe we will end up facing the NCAA Irish, and so far we're undefeated against them—one of the few teams that are. Let's keep this train rolling all the way back to Atlanta!
Love the article @MikeGriffith . Still shocked at the coach of the year as well as players on the all SEC. Clark Lea - are you kidding me. More like Jerry Kill, and the staff (O coordinator, LB coach, etc) and players that came with him, since that is what infused Vandy to be credible - not good but credible. Kirby has done an outstanding job and it seems to go underappreciated. Difficult to stay on top; just ask Saban.
Even more shocking was the Butkus winner not making 1st team SEC. That defies logic and just shows that as long as humans are involved (see the mess that is the 12-team playoffs), there will be biases that aren't well founded. Go DAWGS!
I am from Columbus GA where Rece Davis got his start at local station WRBL Sports. I always wondered then what he actually had in his head that would warrant anyone from the national media wanting him. bama homer, nothing else.
Mike just dropped the mic. (Pun intended.)
