I mentioned this earlier that Colbie Young may have a legit case for another year based on the “hardship” clause. Of course that’s assuming he is found innocent of the assault charges. That would be an interesting challenge like Diego’s if it takes place and would potentially give Colbie 2 years of eligibility, but he’s history if found guilty. Go Dawgs!!!

Since there's no UGA news, I thought I would throw this out there(although a little offtrack for the Forum). Did any body watch the Carrollton/Grayson game last night? What a travesty to be looking forward to a very good football game only to have the Refs completely ruin it. They completely took over the flow and pace of the game and made it only about them with their never ending barrage of flags. I bet the second quarter lasted 45 minutes. This was the quintessential "too much refereeing in the game". There—-I feel better already—Merry Christmas everyone!!!

I also watched the game, and I agree, there was probably as much time spent announcing penalties as there was actual game time. I was shocked Grayson won againt a nationally ranked Carrollton team. Grayson's defense sacked juju lewis 4 or 5 times..he only had 13 sacks in 14 games before the state title game. If the DAWGS can sign Tyler Atkinson from Grayson next year, they will have a beast at LB in the future. Only a Junior, and they showed he already has 51 scholarship offers. Kid is quick as a cat in pursuit, and I don't think I saw him miss a single tackle the entire game. If there's a better high school junior than Atkinson in the country, I'd like to see the highlights from that player. They would have to be an absolute monster on the field to top Atkinson.

After watching the NCAA president testifying in Congress the other day, it is obvious to me that he is a weak link in the NCAA chain. This fellow is scrared of his own face in the mirror. the NCAA has become irrelevant due to their wokeness, their timidity, and inaction. These court cases must be appealed. At this point we need Congressional legislation to save college football from its own greedy players and their agents. The money-hungry universities and their conferences also bear a lot of the blame. They system has been compromised at all levels.

whether the Pavia ruling or hardship, Young will have to have clarity prior to the combine, assuming he gets an invite. Cause if he’s legally innocent then he will want to play football next year. BTW any similarities to the Adam Anderson situation?

Does this mean that SBIV has another year of eligibility left?

Lol...I was wondering the same thing. He can always come back, to cash-in.…if it doesn't work for him, professionally.

Actually....that would go, for a lot of players. Not just this year....but, past years.

JuCo Players, that previously exhausting their eligibility.…suddenly have another year or two...if they want it. Lol.…that could get very interesting.

Lol.…can you see former and failed NFL Players coming back to exhaust their eligibility in style. Teams would take em for the PR and added revenue.

NIL will be the downfall of college football! Who ever thought this would be a good idea? Maybe big schools with rich alumni!
