It used to bother me when we lost someone to the portal but I have come to realize that the transferees either don't have the heart or skill to compete at UGA for a starting position.
Michigan?!?!?!
”Pops” is the only exception to this that I can think of.
AD Mitchell would be another…..needed to move closer to family
At least it's not to USC with Jamaal…..you know, that's where "Bears" go to hibernate…….great choice, Big Blue plays in a cupcake conference and you only have to win one game to have a stunning successful year…..Beat The Ohio State!
And Brock Vandagriff..
Enjoy that cold, frozen, city that starts about this time every year in michigan..GoDAWGS!
Can't say I blame him either, I would've done the same thing, given the same circumstances. If im not mistaken, he had a very young daughter back in Texas. Thats the reason he transferred, to be a lot closer to her.
Yeah, I wouldn’t say that BV was missing the heart, for sure. But the kid knew he wasn’t going to be starting for UGA. So, that one’s a mixed bag. Left for opportunity because he recognized he wouldn’t really have one in Athens.
wow. The cowardly sec to big ten transfer. You hate to see it
