Lol “Kirby needs to give that F-150 to Gunner”. 🤣 Love it !!
Should we all pass the hat for a worthy cause? Let's make our own collective for a walk-on who makes a difference.
I heard all UGA scholarship players get a minimum of $70,000. Plus the best of everything else. I'm still in pretty good shape at 64 … 6'4" and a svelt 235. I would play for free and a few salt pills, but obviously my time has passed. I did get a new hip last year, so there's that.
disgusted with all this, lost my joy for college football
I’m OK with players getting some sort of stipend above and beyond a scholarship ( check into the Cost of going to a school like UGA) but This NIL in the current form is utterly ridiculous.
And keep in mind how these players are catered to many times as early as sophomores in HS in the recruiting process.
PLEASE take my next comment with an open mind. I read where the Least paid players in the NFL make about $400K a year of course with the opportunity to make Much more depending on how much they put into improving.
Now I’m not cold hearted I have compassion. But NFL players want even More $$$ when they retire for traumatic brain injury from a career in football. Well what about our Military for goodness sake ??!!?? They’re not catered to. They live a life of extreme hardship in many cases. Many military people have to take on part time civilian jobs just to make ends meet, talking about married with kids.
Long story short ME and WE have exalted sports so much in this country, many of these athletes near about consider themselves royalty. I don’t know what the answers are. But some people in power need to create policies to reign the insanity in. IF they even can. I think the genie is out of the bottle though and he ain’t going back in. I don’t watch NFL so CFB when it was still fairly pure was my sport I enjoyed watching. But NIL has really hurt it.
I’ll watch out Dawgs till I die cause I Love Em and listened on the radio back in the day and watched on TV most all my life. But NIL has really ruined it in a big way.
4 million.....I ain't mad at him.
Just re-read your post and saw your age, missed it the first time. Man you’re in Great shape !! No matter your age I don’t think many people with sanity would want to make you mad !! I’ll be 68 in May and my right hip has Long needed replacement. But I’ve been putting it off as I have a myriad of other health issues.
How long are you under anesthesia for the surgery ? Was rehab tough and about how long did it take ? My right hip is shot and now my left hip is starting to go to. Thanks in advance !! Allot of great people on here and you are definitely one of them for sure !! Always enjoy your comments.
100% Cash for Cash (Jones)
S t u p I d question of the day from me, but I honestly don’t know. Has Cash been given a scholarship yet ? I know he was a walk on. Just curious. If not he certainly deserves it.
having to watch notre dame and osu play for the natty is going to be brutal. Is there anyway both teams could lose?????

Thanks my brother. We old guys have to stick together! I used to be a triathlete and runner. Marathons and up to 50 miles. Wore my right hip down to a nub. I had to use my 88 year old mothers walker to get around. Humbling for sure. My surgery was easier than a haircut almost. Got to the surgery center at 6am and was home by 11am. Surgery was less than an hour and a half. Easy peasy — was like flicking a switch. Strutted out of there like a new man. Surgery was on a Monday and I needed about 3 days to recover. Drove by Thursday. I should have done it sooner. Mobility is everything. However else I can help please say the word.
Wow !!! You HAVE helped me greatly with this info. !! Thanks So much my Brother. Like I said there are allot of Great people on here and You and them are the reason I enjoy coming here. Hope you and All our fellow Dawgs fans have a great rest of the weekend !! Thx again !!
I don't know. But I just saw him the other day at Marker 7. He looked happy, FWIW.
I think I heard the announcers say during the playoff game that Cash turned down the scholarship, and told UGA to give it to someone who needed it.
