Not ready to give up just yet, but this is a movie we've all seen before. If the goal is to make the Dance, you better start winning some games, especially the one's you're supposed to win. Even if they do squeak in, they'll be a one and done. Then Newell will be gone and the pattern continues. Just not much tradition or street cred for UGA basketball.

Looks like this team isn’t ready for the big show. The loss to Arkansas was pathetic. Today’s game was even worse. They can’t handle playing on the road. Ok at home vs teams they’re supposed to beat. We’ve all seen this song and dance before.

And I replied to that post.."if not more" lol we were both correct, nothing short of a blowout.

How much money have we wasted on basketball since Hugh? What a waste of resources.

I see the real Georgia Basketball team has shown up. They playing with the big boys now. They have a lot of room to grow. M

I thought Newell might be a one and done, but based on last few games I don’t see it. He is boing to have to get stronger and tougher before he is ready. Seems to disappear when a strong defender is on him.

Hard to take another so-so coach and season. White could not cut it at Florida and now UGA. Georgia really needs to buy an elite, winning coach. Attract top tier players that can take on the tough SEC teams. When the SEC play began, I said uh oh here we go again and sure enough…loss upon consecutive loss. I am a UGA grad and hate to see this year after year.

We paid Fla $1.25 million to get Mike White. Our record vs Gators since that unfortunate transaction: 0-6. Josh Brooks should be looking for a new job along with the clueless Coach White.

Well, that was ****- SEC is tough- if you don’t have your A game every game, this is what happens- still need that third scoring option when Newell or Demary are off. Lawrence looks more capable than he’s showing and Cain is in a slump. Leffew looks good. But the **** turnovers are just killing us. Go Dawgs

PlateauDawg, you seem to have all of the answers.

Who do you suggest UGA hire to replace Josh Brooks & Mike White?
