I am all about the O-Line and O-line coaching and WR drops, not Bobo. It all starts in the trenches. Always will. OL was down more than it has been in many years. If you do not factor that in first and foremost, then it is not a fair assessment of Bobo's offense.

Throw in as Kirby said, several other factors, and you see it is not fair to blame Bobo. We still can, but it is unfair.

We sure can still be skeptical though…and I am until proven otherwise. Will be with the OL coaching too.

52 yrs of Dooley, Goff, Donnan, & Richt, Georgia had 1 National Championship (2 appearances in title games), 8 SEC Championships (6 appearances in championship games), & 6 Divisional Titles. 432 total & 8.3 wins/yr.

In 9 yrs with Smart, 2 National Championships (4 CFP appearances) 3 SEC Championships (7 appearances in championship games), & 6 Divisional Titles. 105 total & 11.67 wins/yr..

While it’s a little bit of an understatement to say the game has changed since Dooley stepped between the hedges in 1964, you can’t argue with Coach Smart’s success. 2024 was loaded with countless changes, challenges, & hurdles that would have caused 99.9% of coaches to curl up into the fetal position & begin knawing on their thumbs. All Coach did was go out and win 11 games, an SEC Championship, & earn a CFP birth. His team accomplished this despite the most difficult schedule in the country, multiple injuries & players lost at every position, 15 starters drafted, the disastrous nightmare of roster management created by NIL & the portal.

I think Coach Smart has earned the right to select & manage his staff & players anyway he sees fit. He certainly deserves our courtesy, respect, & total support. Let’s not become the next fan base like Florida, Alabama, Auburn, etc… that turns coat on their team & coaches because they only won 11 games & an SEC CHAMPIONSHIP!!

You know what the scary thing is? CMB may not be the best OC in the country but he isn't the worst coach on the UGA staff. There are 2 maybe 3 others that are worse coaches of their respective groups.

The last one featured Brock and Ladd, among others, who can make the village idiot look like a play calling genius.

But Bobo has a current trend with UGA that is an extension of his trend before he returned to UGA. It's not good.

Finebaum doubles down on his lack of confidence in Bobo, yesterday. He said that all great people have their blind spots and Bobo is Kirby's.

    Hard to disagree with him.
