Georgia football enters the 2025 season atop the SEC, but the program’s air of dominance has been shaken by transfer portal and NIL dealings.“I don’t know if we’ve ever gone into a season with more questions marks about Georgia since maybe after Kirby’s second year,” Doering told DawgNation.

That questionable, weak-arse team from 2024 didn’t just beat the newly anointed King of the Hill on their home field, they then beat’em for a second time in the SEC Championship Game…as for ND, without the KO Return for a TD, Dawgs probably moved on

Bottom Line- Hold Off on That Obituary for a Little While Longer!

we’re still the champs until we aren’t so I would say it does.

I’m really excited about this team and their potential. It’ll be fun to watch them play and develop during the season. I don’t look at them as a favorite to win the SEC or a CFP championship, but I can’t say any other team is better. This will be an interesting college football season.

So, Doring and Burns are giving the edge to Texas because they'll have Manning under center…..guess they forgot how well ole Arch did back in 24….3/6 passing for 19 yds, 4 rushing….I mean running for his life for -1 yard……then comes the SECC and Gunnar has to play, replacing an injured Beck…. but he not only galvanized the Dawgs and inspired them with his "never surrender, win at all cost" play…..he went 12/16, 71 yds passing, 1 TD and 8/8 yds rushing and again leading the team with his level of play winning the SEC Championship……The Dawgs were a more talent laden team then and despite our NFL losses, The Dawgs have outscored the Horns in the portal and remain a deeper talented team……not to worry, Steve and the Boys will get a "Down Horns" refresher come November 15.

Given that Bama, Texas, and Ole Miss come to Athens, the answer seems quite obvious. Go Dawgs!

Kirby Smart just has a way of getting his players to respond under pressure in big time games.

Everyone has opinions and rear ends and both stink most of the time.
Georgia lost the playoff game, ND didn’t beat Georgia. Bad offensive game plan and blocking, poor sideline demeanor, bad strike of the ball on the kickoff, and a head coach with his father in the hospital knowing he’s probably near the end. I don’t know of a team in the nation that would overcome those struggles and still win.

Too much youth and too many unanswered questions on this team to know where we will actually end up. On paper, the talent is there to win the SEC. Obviously, how Gunner plays will be a BIG key to the season. Injuries seem to always be our nemesis. But if the season goes as I hope, my bet is our November game against Texas will decide who plays for the SEC Championship.

I'm not seeing it with tejas, Bama on the other hand may be getting overlooked by the talking heads. The Hungry Dawgs will get them early at home, may end up playing them twice.

The only thing that runs through Texas are several interstates..nothing more.

Everyone is all about texas university (Tennessee remains the original and true UT) and it is the love affair with the Manning name. I agree the biggest question mark is QB but I believe the rest of the team will be solid. It seems many are overlooking Bama and LSU because they are blinded by Manning and the texas money. They had all that money last season and we saw how that played out. Dawgs will be fine and that game in November will be epic

I would vote Texas winning the SEC also. But if we traded schedules, I would take UGA …
