Definitely looks like Bobo is here to stay for years to come, for better or for worse. Hopefully for the better. He can't be fired even if the offense tanks(relatively) speaking, , or we might lose Curtis.

I mean we do have some of the best offensive players in the nation and which college OC couldn't get 32 points per game out of our guys? . THen again if Stockton or Puglisi can't produce big numbers, he(Curtis) might not want to stay. He could lose faith in the system(OC).

Don't get me wrong, I want everything to work out. THere's just this little thing in the back of my mind that gnaws at me about Bobo and it want be put to rest until we win a NC with him, or beat BAMA at the very least.

Here's what I don't understand. There are countless hours of content available for Georgia Football, ESPECIALLY when it relates to the QB position and plenty of content available relating to Bobo. We're not talking about an D/O Line position here. This is QB where thinking and preparation and "smarts" are king. If it were me, I'd know more about Bobo than he knows about himself. I'd try to find footage (from back when I was in school) with Bobo as a QB. I'd listen to every conference he made as a Head Coach. I'd analyze every QB that went through the program with him as a HC, him as a QB coach and now as an OC. What went right, what went wrong? How long before they started? What values does Smart look for in a QB? Why did other high profile QBs choose other programs?

I suspect that others DO the research and don't like what they find at Georgia for the QB position. Defense? Oh, that's a different story, but QB does not have the reputation or history of success. Obviously, if we were leading all of college in receiver drops, that tells you that maybe QBs and WRs aren't coached together very well.

I have my fingers crossed, but I think we all know that Curtis will wind up at Oregon sometime within the next 2 years.

Love Coach Bobo, loyal DGD. Really weary of all the naysayers who have always trashed him.

I love CMR. Great man, and DGD. FOr whatever reason he could never win the NC. It got to the point where most everyone understood his coaching limitations and wanted a real chance at winning a Natty. it's why he was fired in the end. Enter Kirby Smart. I have nothing personal against CMB, at all. He loves UGA no doubt, just as caoch Richt did. I've never slandered his character or passion for UGA, just like those who wanted Richt removed didn't want him removed because of his integrity or his character. THey just wanted a little more than what CMR could bring in terms of a NC. THat's where I am personally with Bobo.

JUst win a natty, or at the very least, help us beat BAMA. If he can do that then he will no doubt win over many who doubt he's the right guy for the job. No one doubts his recruiting or passion for UGA.

CKS has tied himself at the hip with one of his best friends. I get that. Hopefully, it will all workout for all of us. Go DAWGS!

yes but he’s also the guy sending Anthony Evans out there to block on an ETN run so he’s not totally above reproach.

WR room has been improved. He’s got his guy at QB. No more excuses for Mike in 2025. Get it done or let someone else try.

About Coach Bobo like @reddawg1 stated and I agree fully Bobo is a DGD, he Loves UGA, he’s Loyal to UGA. His Son plays at UGA and figures to be an interval part of the O. Many times Coach Bobo has dialed up some Fantastic plays !! He Can be very, very good !! BUT my biggest issue with Coach Bobo looking from my view , is he has a tendency that when a certain play isn’t working he’ll stay with it repeatedly.

Like it didn’t work this time but I’m gonna run it again and This time it will. So on the second in a row fail you’d think well he’ll go to another play now, but nope he runs it again !! It’s almost like he’s trying to sneak up on an opposing defense thinking they’d Never think I’m gonna run this play again !!

But I know that tendency, Yall know that tendency and unfortunately rival teams are Keenly aware of that tendency. Time is extremely important in the game of football and it’s like when he finally accepts that the defending team ain’t buying it Allot of time has expired and we can’t recoup and win the game. If he’d cancel that One tendency out of his psyche I think he could be a Superb OC !!

One of the plays that really sticks in my mind is the RB up the middle between the tackles play. Gain one yard, next snap lose two yards, next snap gain the two yards back but it’s Three and out !! Next series he comes right back to that !! He’s almost caused me to have either a heart attack or **** Yelling at the TV like he can hear me Lol !!

But as I said I’ve seen many times where he calls brilliant plays. He has the ability, it’s just he’s to much like ME sometimes he’s stubborn !! Maybe he realizes that now and will reign that tendency in. I’m gonna give him every benefit of the doubt. It’s a New season coming up so I’m gonna go in Believing in him until he gives me a reason not to. Go Dawgs !! P.S. We’ve GOT to throw the ball deep downfield more often with No INTs please, stop the rival defense from crowding the line. Gotta make them respect the Threat of a deep ball Hopefully we have the WRs to do that now and TEs for that matter. I Believe Gunner is capable of delivering the ball to Em !!

Curtis committed to UGA in spite of Bobo, not because of him…. There's a lot of time for him to change his mind. Again…. Like Raiola…

Bobo was mediocre under Richt. He was worse than mediocre at CSU, Auburn, and USCe. Finebaum is right. He's still mediocre on a good day. We will not see another natty while he is on the UGA football program payroll.

I miss Todd Monken. Let Bobo recruit ‘em. Let someone else call plays.

Pretty easy to be an armchair OC. I think I'll defer to a couple of people who are probably better judges than me, KIrby Smart and Jared Curtis. Go Dawgs!
