The strong will survive.
It will probably go down from 129 teams or whatever the number is to 25 or so in time. It will also limit numbers for those that want to play & get an education.
Sad what may be to come, hope I’m wrong.
I would like to get rid of the CFP committee and use the AP poll for the playoffs. No guaranteed spots. BUT have the top 24 teams be a part of the playoffs. And maybe even having 2 play-in games with 26 vs 24 and 23 vs 25. In reality, will any team outside of the top 15 really have a chance to get to the natty?
The only difference for me would be to combine the AP and Coaches Poll to determine rank…definitely can the CFP….if we had a 24 team playoff would yield 12 then 6 the 3 winners, the #1 team gets a buy to play the winner of 2 & 3 for the Natty.
Unlimited scholarships where if you make the team your you're in but don't limit rosters/walk ons…..allow all open fair market deals for individual players….divide the NIL cap according to starts/playing time with a base amount going to every player…..Ban boosters and collectives from paying players but allow contributions to schools/programs….No TP for players for first two years, then only one window after the schools spring practice….
