Georgia picked up a win on Wednesday over the Hurricanes, as the Bulldogs beat Miami to land four-star running back Jae Lamar. Following his commitment to Georgia, Lamar confirmed that Miami had finished as the runner-up in his recruitment.

    With all the $$$ offers floating around, you really won't know where a kid ends up until they sign on the dotted line. I wouldn't doubt if some schools wait until UGA shows interest in a player and then start waving their $$$ bag to get a quick catch.

    Miami is following the Ohio State model, trying to buy a national championship team. Unfortunately, it takes more than players. Let's not forget the vicious loss to Georgia Tech by miami. Their coaches are questionable.

    Can’t outbid Miami. However, UGA has a better record re developing players. I’m okay with losing those who value the college money over being developed into the best player they can be. In fact, I prefer not to get a player by outbidding other teams. I prefer those who want to be the best they can be.
