- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed.     Obviously, I was speaking historically…Point was, Georgia plays better at Auburn than in Athens. You can't say that about every rivalry for UGA or many teams for that matter…would think that is rare.

    "They are all tough games" in the SEC, there are no gimmes.

    Texas AND Auburn have open dates before they play the Dawgs. Our 2 open dates coincide with the open dates Fla and Ala have. Will UGA ever stand up to the SEC hq and schedulers? We sheepishly neither demanded consecutive home games vs Auburn after they had consecutive homes against us nor obtained some form of compensation for playing Auburn earlier in the season. Ever since then the conference hq and schedulers knew they could do anything to UGA because UGA simply accepts anything the conference does to us.

    Look at Texas' favorable 2024 and 2025 SEC schedules The SEC apparently loves Texas and all the money they have. I'd be willing to bet it won't be too long before Texas forces the conference to move the championship to Jerry world in Arlington, TX.
