Beck knew his time at Georgia would come up at the press conference, and it was clear from the onset he was ready to embrace it and show gratitude -- not always a given in the transfer portal age.

I love Carsons response to the question, and his willingness to talk about it, and his time as a Bulldog. But to state that the Miami fan base will be very similar to UGA,s or a SEC team raises a brow. He won't ever play in front of 95,000 people at Hard Rock stadium for 2 reasons. 1) the stadium doesnt contain that many seats. 2) The fan base does not support the team as they once did. I watched a couple of Miami home games last year, 1 against an in-state rival, yet the stadium was no where being sold out. So, until I see it with my own eyes, I'll have doubts he'll get the fan support in Miami that he got in Athens.
Good job handling that question, Carson! The DawgNation will be rooting for you to be the number two QB in all of CFB this year!
what’s he supposed to say? You know these Miami fans never show up unless we’re winning and they’re fairweather types. He can’t say that. He and we obviously know the truth but there’s no point in being fully honest in that moment with that question.

Carson Beck liked to choke in the worst moments, particularly against Alabama. He has the physical attributes but does not have the aptitude or leadership required for an elite quarterback. He will not be successful in the NFL. I truly wish Carson Beck never signed with UGA. He sold out after the 2023 season for money and the material world including frequent ego-massages. He was the main reason for our disappointing 2023. and 2024 seasons. Thank God he moved to Miami for his 30 shekels. Miami will be no more successful in 2025 than they were previous years. Bottom line is that he is not a DGD and he is not a Georgia Bulldog.
I agree, he can't trash the fans who support him, otherwise he'd be playing in a stadium 1/3 full at best. I still thought it was kind of funny he'd compare the 2 fan bases knowing he was way off with that statement. They couldn't be more opposite in terms of supporting your team. DAWGS have more fans at away games than Miami usually does at most home games..being sarcastic, I know thats not the truth lol

No Beck slander allowed, the guy got hurt playing for UGA. He is free to choose where he wanted to play. Nothing but gratitude for the time he spent playing at UGA anything less would be classless.
Without reservation, I hope Carson is the leading Stats QB in the ACC……more yards, more TD's, and maybe even get some rushing yardage……at least better than Ward and maybe get an invite to The Heisman in NY…….Oh the shoulda, coulda, wouldas if The Canes/Carson beat The Irish!!!!!!
Man, you guys are mighty rough on a guy that was a DGD for 4+ years. Waited his turn and gave his all and has nothing but kind and respectful things to say about his time as a DAWG, and some folks on here just light him up. That’s kind of low in my view.
I respect all he did and feel he is a very solid QB that will have a great year and I wish him the best. Hate it ended the way it did but all parties have moved on and to be honest, both parties will likely wish they were still on the same team at some point during the season.

Literally averaged 3,500+ yards and a 70% completion rate in 2 years as a starter, and 1 of them being the hardest schedule Georgia has ever played. He passed up a 1st round draft pick and $10s of millions to come back to Georgia and try to grind 1 out for another natty because he wanted to for the University of Georgia and his friends/ teammates. But people want to cry about $4 million that Georgia GAVE him and him buying a Lambo, if that's what bothers you in this day in age of cfb you better buckle up or just quit watching. His receivers **** and his O line ****. Anyone that bad mouths Carson because he "didn't have enough energy or smile enough" know nothing about Georgia football, and were probably a good reason he had a "down" attitude last year. He got blamed for everything and 90% of it had nothing to do with him and more to do with the coaching or other positions. He's a DGD, period.
