Coach MR is right of course. And certainly the year might have been quite different without the drops. I think the real concern that gives me pause is the poor production from our offensive line. They couldn't block or protect. Part of that issue is created by drops. If those safeties see WR's dropping the deep ball, then they will feel free to run up into the box to stop the run. Having said that, our O line since Pittman left has gone from Road grader strength to questionable. I hear they were hurt as well, but one wonders if #1 guys was hurt then why #2 wasn't ready to go. Regardless, we are told Kirby has added help, people, and talent, ect, so all should be well. I hope so.

Love Coach Richt, a DGD and just a great human being. Not knocking on Bobo at all but wouldn’t it be cool if Coach Richt’s health was much better and He could be OC !! Again not knocking on Bobo. Just a fantasy thought !! Go Dawgs !!

Mark Richt is a great guy, but he could never win the big games. Part of the reason was Mike Bobo. I remember games when it was clutch time, and Bobo would call those up-the-middle runs three times and punt. Sometimes he would mix it up with a lame sideline pass. The tendency is to blame the offensive line, or some other aspect of the team, but the truth is Bobo's playing call lacks imagination and other teams pick up on it.

we didn’t win the big games in 2012 and 2007 bc his defenses couldn’t stop a nosebleed. Offense was never the issue.
