ATHENS â Kirby Smart makes it a point to get his best players on the field, and sophomore linebacker Chris Cole is intent on making himself an easy decision for the head coach.

I'm expecting Cole to be unleashed and have a fantastic season.
A lot of young talent on this year's defense. Hopefully a few step up, and make it a feared defense as it was during the 2 year National Championship run. We will all find out not long from now. I'm anxious, and excited to see if this 2025 defense can live up to the off-season hype i've read..GoDAWGS!
YES !! To Both of Yall !! I to am getting more and more excited as I read the articles on various players on the Dawgs Defense, Team for that matter !!
I just Believe in my heart that this 2025 team is gonna shock the naysayers !! Kirby always keeps his cards close to his chest but even he seems to have let some excitement slip !!
And I’m also a little less worried about the Defensive Line from some articles here on DN. Still some concern but not Worried as I was before. If our D Line can slow the opposition run game down where our LBs can swoop in and finish off the play we’ll be in good shape.
Keep it to a 2-3 yard run instead of a 5-8 yard run. Stop Em at the LOS or TFL will be Much better !! Stuff the oppositions run game, make Em one dimensional !! I Trust our Secondary to hold up against the pass attack.
Stopping the oppositions run game yet Creating one of our own has been one of the foremost missions by KS and his coaching staff. And the more I read the more I’m excited about achieving that goal !! Go Dawgs !!
