Gunner, when he starts: 255ypg, 3 ints per 1 TD; Puglisi, when he starts: 320ypg, 1 ints per 3 TDs. Gunner is not it. And besides, he will likely blow out his ACL or suffer multiple concussions with his wreckless running style. The best team in 3 years will only go as far as our QB can take us and the bar is low with Gunner out of the gate.

    You're a Big Gunner Fan I see.

(Makes me wonder what you think of Kirby as a coach.)

    Go, Dawgs!

I knew you wouldn’t be able to resist the bait this article put out. Gunner said tell you your former GF said Hey. 🤣

No excuses, now for slow starts and 32 points per game. . Bobo has his preferred QB(according to many)and a new arsenal of receivers and Colbie is back with the kid from Vandy and with Bell, so no excuses in "receivers can't get open) . THe RB situation seems much improved(at least healthwise). Can't let these first two oppnents go toe to toe for 3 quarters before pulling ahead in the fourth. THese need to be cake walks! 40+ per game on these two teams. 7 points or less per game on defense! Let's go!

In games where Gunner was put in for mop up duty he performed very well most of the time. I understand he had good protection in those games in garbage minutes, he had very little protection in the SEC Championship against tejas, and almost NO protection against the golden domers. He gets decent protection against the better defenses and he will make them pay. Richt and Bobo had a good OL in 2012, just not much of a defense. Murray with Bobo put up 41 ppg that year. I think Stockton and Bobo will work well together.

I think our running game will be good this year, but even with that consideration too low on the yardage imo. Gunner should get above 3500 yds for his first full year being the starter. He's a baller. I don't think the DawgNation respects his abilities yet.

I don't really care what kind of numbers he puts up as long as we WIN!!

THe continuous running of the play clock for most of the game IMO puts a damper on trying to establish the run. RUnning on 1st and 2nd downs eats up clock, especially if it's to no avail as in 3rd and long. Of course it's great if you are having success with it you can wear onthe other team and set up explosive plays in the passing game.

Too often last season we tried to establish the run and found out we couldn't and before you know it we're 3 and out, and we finish the 1st half with only 3 possessions. That and we couldn't get off the feld on 3rd down in some big games.

We just have to be able to move the sticks and be exlosive! Go with what's working for you. LAst season we would generally get going in the passing game whenthe run game wasn't doing much, only for Bobo to slow down the momentum by going back to the run and kill the drive.

I’m with Montana Dawg. The key is just win the game. As to the question, since Gunner is in his 4th year in the program, he should do better than Jake did as a true freshman, but who knows? I believe Gunner is a good thrower of the deep ball - better than Beck. Assuming (an assumption until I see them actually do it) we have receivers who can catch the deep ball, I expect his average per attempt to be higher than normal.
But it’s all speculation. Let’s play ball! Go Dawgs!

On one hand I find it hard to believe that CKS lets GS and the O off the chain. CKS is notorious for keeping the training wheels on until trust is earned.

On the other hand GS throws a nice long ball and CKS is always talking about "explosives". More bomb type throws this year.

The only way that GS makes the numbers predicted above by the Dawgnation experts is IF the running game is dominant. IF UGA struggles to run the ball, GS will really have a tough time.
