"Kirby Smart is proud of Hall for coming back from the injury and excited about the defensive line’s progress."

We're really happy to hear that there are no complications going on with the recovery, and that he's ready to go on Saturday! With virtually no ink on Jordan Hall throughout the off season, it became easy to speculate that the recovery wasn't going well. He is talented, enthusiastic, and ready to get after some ball-carriers along with the others who make up this great defense. I can't wait till Saturday!

"the Bulldogs were out-rushed in all three of last season’s losses: 1) Alabama had 177 yards on the ground to UGA’s 80 in the Tide’s 41-34 win; 2) Ole Miss gained 134 yards rushing to Georgia’s 59 in the Rebels’ 28-10 win; 3) Notre Dame rushed for 154 yards to the Bulldogs’ 62 in the Irish’s 23-10 CFP Sugar Bowl victory."

While those yards allowed numbers aren't great, they pale in comparison to the pathetic offensive efforts on the ground in those games: 80, 59, 62 yards rushing respectively. That's an embarrassment for a Georgia team.

I don't know what the hell Searels and O-line were doing last year, especially with an NFL 2nd rounder (Ratledge) and a 3rd rounder (Wilson) playing, but it has to get fixed this year. I'm tired of hearing about injuries, too. Everyone has injuries. All season long. Time for the OL to man up and that includes Searels.

    GO DAWGS.

Well said. But his situation leads me to my concern that he may be prone to recurring lower leg issues/injury.

Having stress reactions in one lower leg is relatively normal. Having them in both lower legs does not bode well for a 320 lb football NT taking shots on his lower legs, blindly, from every angle. Is his condition indicative of physiological deficiency as a result of extreme load bearing or nutritional inadequacy during development? Leg strength, especially lower leg strength, may be the most important strength an IDL can have.

At this point JHall has to earn fans confidence that he will be available and effective every week. He is a big IF; literally and figuratively.
