ATHENS â Lawson Luckie is one of Georgiaâs prime candidates for a break-out season, but the Bulldogsâ tight end has bigger goals in mind for Saturday.

The way things are shaping up, it looks like The 2025 Dawgs have a serious competition going on…..and we all know the winner will be declared at the conclusion of every game via "Kirbyology"……whoever advances the ball consistently, gets the ball the most….The 2025 Dawgs have arguably the best receiver room, WR's & TE's, that we've had in years and it also appears that our RB room is loaded with raw but yet unproven potential…..both groups biting at the bit to turn the hype into factual stats……..DawgNation, in 2025 It's GREAT TO BE A DAWG……as for Lawson, whether it's receiving and breaking tackles or whether it's laying the lumber to a potential tackler allowing the RB to make extra yardage…..I see a very bright season for "The Luckie Dawg"
@GtheGreek...according to the 247 Team Talent Composite, the Dawgs are #2 in total team talent right behind #1 Bama. Ohio State, Texas, and Oregon round out the Top 5. On our current roster, we have (12) 5-stars, (55) 4-stars, and (22) 3-star players. The rankings are tight, and the differences are marginal between top teams.
We've obviously got the talent all over the field this season, but we don't have the experience except for a handful of guys like Luckie. They must step up and be leaders, execute at a high level, and help Kirby get this team rolling.
Opposing Defenses concentrated on Luckie, concentrate, concentrate and Boom !! Deep pass to Delp !! Opposing Defenses concentrate on Delp, concentrate, concentrate and Boom !! Deep pass to Luckie for the TD !! Rivals choose your poison !! And that’s just the TEs !! Go Dawgs !!
"GtheGreek"—Well said and you are spot on!
I'm really cheering for Delp! Ever since his first G-Day, I've hoped he would break out like Bowers. Delp probly gets tired of the Bowers comparisons…I know I would.
I said it at least 10 times a game last year: “Throw it to Luckie.” He has good hands and is fast for a TE.
I love the attitude. The catch vs. Texas last year (on the sidelines) was as good as you'll ever see. I could think of a lot worse situations than having to rely on our TE room: Delp, Luckie, Barbour, Reddell and a couple more.
Go DAWGS. Have some fun and dominate!
