I never thought QB was “the problem”, but he is a problem when he leaves big plays on the field. He has to play better to get this team to where they/we want to be. This offense is loaded with playmakers and Stockton has to get the ball to them instead of one read and running out of the pocket. He leaves too many big plays on the field and this defense isn’t going to shutdown good offenses.

@MontanaDawg Yes exactly. Bobo seems to lose his nerve. Mix it up for crying out loud! Also, the tight ends block ok, but nothing great.

So eager to "um, actually" that you completely missed the point.

How many more snaps is Searles going to give to Uini (#52) at RT? Just like in the A-P game, it was the combination of Glover (#63) at RG and Hughley (#55) at RT that got us back on track. So obvious that was the answer on the right side. How does it take Searles 3+ quarters to see this? I have my issues with Bobo and his conservative play calling streaks, but when the OL (includes TEs) is missing assignments and whiffing regularly in pass pro - mostly on the right side - it doesn't matter what you call. Had Glover and Hughley not been in there together at the end, no way Gunner even gets close to tossing that BEAUTIFUL TD pass to Humphreys. Very happy with the win. Please play Glover and Hughley from the start. They have earned it. Go Dawgs.

I thought it was also obvious that Frazier had the hot hand (14 for 73; 5.2 average). But we kept pounding Bowens (12 for 32; 2.7 average). Phillips was better too, until he got nicked up. We just blindly follow the initial game plan and make no adjustments.

Amen Montana Dawg. Bobo’s play calling will drive a normal person insane. When we’re behind, his play calling is usually good. Get a lead, even a minuscule 3 point lead, and he goes ultra predictable. Plus, gotta get less predictable inside the 5. Kicking FGs when we should be scoring TDs.

bobo and inexplicable runs up the gut? You mean just when you get a turnover and you run up the gut on 1st and 2nd down to make it 3rd and 8? And your o-line is completely whiffing on blocks? And you squander the momentum? You see it ever year.

this game was eerily similar to last years Bama game. Just with an alternate ending.

I owe YOU an apology. I Do apologize. I’ve been pretty mean spirited to you about your comments about Gunner. But your comments on this post are Great !!

Gunner made mistakes. He’s far from perfect. But he’s a true warrior and he’s giving his all behind a porous O Line. But I don’t want to be overly harsh on them either as they Did step up when it Most counted.

This team has tons of work to do to get better. But I’m hoping that this win today gave Gunner and the entire team the Much Needed confidence they will have to have to run a very tough schedule. Challenges like this game tend to refine and temper a team for tough times ahead. I could call out Allot of problems I saw Team Wide today but I’d only be repeating what’s already been said.

Again Thank You for acknowledging Gunner’s efforts and I apologize for acting **** toward you in my replies to your comments in the past week. We’re Both just very passionate about our Dawgs and want them to win at the highest levels. Hope you and All our fellow Dawgs fans have a Great rest of the weekend !! Go Dawgs !!

The question should be how many more games is Searels going to coach this sorry offense line that he’s recruited. We definitely miss Pittman and Luke.

#59 should be the starting right tackle. He played great after replacing the struggling right tackle. The dogs got to play the Freshman defensive end. . Number #0, #33 and #28 just can't rush the passer or set the edge. The Arny guy from the transfer portal is none existent. Keep #71 on the bench. Play #59 at tackle. #71 is a disappointment

A fortunate win. If Buster Faulkner was OC (and he should have been) this team would have scored 65+ points. We can complain about some of the OL play but when there's 7 to 8 players crashing the box on one of Bobo's obvious runs there is no hope. I haven't run the numbers but I doubt the Dogs averaged over 2 ypc inside the tackles. With this receiving corp and plethora of running backs this could be a top ten offense but not with Bobo. He's a governor on a hot rod 3 years running.

Referring to the Brazell td I guess it's legal to push down the defender preventing him from jumping.
