I missed the 2nd half of A-P so I didn't see him come in. I don't remember seeing him in the drive that ended the 1st half…yeah, that drive.
Did UGA save McCray for possibly Alabama, and he was needed against Tennessee??
That last TD the way he kept his knee off the turf and extended the ball was epic! When he transferred, I felt like he'd make a big impact for us!
I think it bears mentioning that with 5 more wins, Georgia enters the 900 lifetime wins club and will be only the 9th FBS team to do so. That's an elite club to be in and all of us Dawg fans should be proud.
UGA has wins against 17 ranked teams going back to 2021 season, that is good for 1st place, Bama is 2nd with 15.
Both of Humphreys catches were outstanding. The second one was a great thrown ball but a tough catch nonetheless. I thought the first catch was a tougher catch on pretty much the same route as the second. One very impressive play I’ve not seen noted was the 3rd down conversion by Dillon Bell on that short pass. He made a couple of moves and bulled his way there. A much needed pick up that led to points.
Watch the reply on the TD in OT. No one blocks the outside guys andvthey almost pulled him back… why? They should use him more on short yardage plays
They DID pull him back, but before they got him too far back, he just reached the ball across the goal line. That's all he needed to do. There's a risk, obviously, in doing that and I'm sure Kirby and staff will caution him about the perils of doing so on a regular basis. But this time, it was worth it because I'm not sure we would have made it on third down.
McCray made a good effort to get the ball over the goal line—he didn't have a whole lot of blocking to help him. What a dynamic trio of pictures of Humphreys catching that ball! GO DAWGS
Pure, unadulterated, brute strength. He was simply too big and strong to be denied, despite a gaggle of big and strong dudes ganging up and trying otherwise . And that's why he was portaled in. Go Dawgs!
