Game over.
Yes, our defense got outplayed and outmatched in the 1st half, but we had multiple opportunities on offense to put more points on the board:
1)Taylor drops a for sure TD pass
2) Frazier fumbling in the Red Zone. Dawgs would have walked away with a FG at a minimum.
3)Kirby's decision to go for the TD instead of a FG
We blew it.
TY Simpson was the better QB tonight.
Kirby doesn't have a Saban problem…he officially has a BAMA problem.
When do we get a decent offense coordinator and other coaches that can coach players not to make **** mistakes?
Not sure what it is but Alabama has our number. They are 10-1 versus us.
UGA has to recruit better TE, WR, DB and DL players.
Bama owns the DAWGS. Alabama is in Kirby's head. It is hard to get the **** off the back
Frazier fumble didn't help, but it was hardly the difference. So many problems, il surprised it was close. First, since the secondary generally can't cover, can we at least teach those small fries how to tackle? Particularly Daylen Everette? Taylor dropped for sure TD pass. Then, poor coaching at the end on 4th and short and everyone in disarray. Then, poor play calling on last series (run run run run run). I knee it was over when they punted back to Bama with only 4 or so minutes. You usually can't win games when you take half of it to finally start playing. Alabama is not a ****...they are a gorilla on the back of the Dawgs. At least PSU and LSU also lost.
Georgia recruit tight ends but Bobo don't use them. Every pro style offense I have seen you they useir tight ends
Love Cash but should have had McCray in there blocking for Gunner to gain a yard on the edge. Or why didn’t we kick the FG?
Defense didn’t allow points in second half but the slow start by both offense and defense was too much to overcome.
No problem losing to a better team but that’s 2 years in a row we lost to a team we were better than.
I think it was the right decision to go for the TD instead of the FG and well, it just didn't work out. Kinda a tough game to quantify: we couldn't stop them on 3rd day in the first half to save our life and Bama seemed to make every single pass they wanted to. We did great stopping the run and running the ball and fought hard but we also had some sloppiness. That penalty in the game was just… so absolutely ****. That missed TD catch was heartbreaking and the fumble (granted it was a hard hit) deep in our territory was a gut punch.
Our season is far from over though. We lucked out against Tenn and didn't get lucky against Bama. Lots more to play!
TOO many mistakes! Defense has GOT to start these games better!!! Untimely turnover, dropped TD pass, TERRIBLE 4th down decision, untimely penalties, TERRIBLE defense on third down!!! VERY disappointed in the defense so far! I thought for sure it would be THE strength of the team.

Delp dropped a ball put right on him. He got hit but that is not an excuse.
UGA will never win a natty or beat Bama with Bobo as OC. He couldn't win with a backfield of Todd Gurley, Nick Chubb, and Sony Michel. Two of our most pivotal plays were plays drawn up for walk on Cash Jones instead of Bowens/McCray who were breaking tackles all night (including a 4th and 1 and a horrid 3rd and 9 HB swing when we had to have a 1st down)
Monken got us over the hump. Bobo will lose us games against the best teams just like he always has
Out coached. Don’t say that often, but Alabama played a smart clean game and UGA didn’t.
I’ve been saying the same thing for two years about Bobo. Alabama’s offensive coordinator made Bobo look amateurish. He is a definite liability to this teams success! No imagination whatsoever! Go Dawgs!
