UGA left at least 10 points on the field. If you are going to question anything it is everybody fault. Kirby should have taken the points and players have to make plays and we did not. Dropped footballs on defense and offense cost games.
One of the highlights of the game was our #1 piling on the scrum. He had to leap at least 6 feet!🤔
Bobo cannot innovate beyond runs up the middle and throws to the flat. Mind boggling to think a throw five yards behind the QB and ten yards behind the line of scrimmage against the speed of the Bama D is a sound decision. And the decision not to pick up the three points on fourth down proved fatal. This team, equipped with this decision making, will likely lose four more games this season. Then we’ll see if Kirby remains loyal to the current coaching staff.
crazy how outside of that natty win Kirby always makes a crucial decision that cost the game in some way against these guys . I’m starting to see why schu been here for 10 years.Defense hasn’t been the same since Dan left. 3rd down defense was pathetic, no pass rush no pressure 2 defenders running into each other in the same gap on blitzes . Ellis Robinson atp not looking like an sec CB .
We need to quietly retire #11
Kirby Smart is a defensive coach, he recruits top classes that are defense heavy but can't stop anyone anymore. Every game is from behind and a shootout. The culture is going to be tested like it has not been tested before in the Smart era for the rest of the season, with several hard games left to play. Schumann is nowhere near what Lanning was. Of course Bobo is … never mind.
Kirby should've kicked the field goal and tied the gamewe have t much talent to keep losing to Bama maybe Kirby still has love for Bama maybe we need to send him back to bama and send bobo with him
This was a very winnable game, and Kirby and Co. got the usual yips. Dropped long TD pass check (ghost of Arian Smith and same number). Bobo getting cute in the RedZone. Helpful hint: Cash Jones is NOT a secret weapon. You might as well hang a sign around his neck saying 'I'm getting the ball. No surprise they knew it from film." Twice you had the ball at midfield and got nothing. That after Bama gifted a muffed FG. It was there for the taking. Bobo is nothing special. Searels is a disaster. The secondary is suspect, so I'd have to ask who is coaching them too. Georgia pulled it out vs Tennessee. Not today. Not at home. And not with the best chance Kirby would ever have getting the Bama **** off his back. That's the way it goes. Doesn't ruin my life or my perspective, but venting is therapeutic.
Please, give us one of two things, preferably both- a coach who’s not afraid to beat Alabama, and a coach that’s willing to fire his buddy OC who $u©ks. Kirby has done his part to raise Georgia’s national and recruiting profile… but it’s time to move on. I know it’ll never happen… winning back-to-back natties does give one a considerable measure of job security… but clearly Smart ain’t got what it takes to get Georgia to man up and beat Alabama and get the Dawgs to the next level.
Thank you Coach Smart for what you’ve accomplished, but please go and take your sorry coaching staff with you. Yes, as much as I hate to admit it, Alabama is a good team… but they were BEATABLE. In *Athens* no less. But Coach Smart you couldn’t do that. The Dawgs blew it again.
Please go Coach Smart.
Forgive me if I offend anyone on here. Love you all… just crestfallen that once again we’ve gone limp against the pachyderms. We could be so much more as a program but we’re settling for so much less.
That coaching staff owes the team and fans an apology. Starting with the HC himself. Pathetic
the coaches let the players down today. The Kirby Friends and Family Program has taken us from elite status. He needs new coordinators and asst coaches. Considering the talent, this os very depressing.
