@Connor Riley “The No. 1 and No. 2 longest home-winning streaks in the country came to an end on Saturday, as Washington beat Ohio State.” This is incorrect OSU beat Washington 24-6. Just wanted to let you know
Lol the vote down Bandit is among us !! I wonder if he knows you can’t redeem these votes for cash or get elected to office by them !! 🤣
Good night my fellow Dawgs fans. Sorry things went this way. We should All try to just shake it off as best we can though it’s painful. Maybe our Dawgs can take the pain out on some of our rivals. You Know they are hurting as they wanted this Much More than us. Kirby owes Them and Dawg Nation an apology in my humble opinion.
The difference in coaching is between someone who panics and someone who does not. DeBoer took three time outs in the first quarter because he was unhappy with the play call. Kirby rushes an ill-advised tempo-based run in crunch time instead of taking a time out and getting the right personnel on the field. Who knows, maybe they review the spot as well? I have said it before. Kirby needs a **** coach who has the ability to nix any play called by either the offense or defense.
I wish Kirby had taken the points as our defense was playing well enough to get the ball back. However, I'm more upset at the play call itself, than I am at the decision to go for it. I just don't understand running Cash Jones when we had a guy who ran for 119 yards on 12, count 'em, TWELVE, carries. If we were going to go for it, why aren't we using our best option. Still don't understand, though, why Kirby wouldn't have tied the game, and then we just battle it out with them for the next eight minutes. When you're behind, you're always in chase mode. And with every unsuccessful play, the pressure just mounts. Take the tie, and it's like starting the game all over.
At some point the Dawgs are going to have recruit better Wide Receivers, and better D Lineman.
Yep. Just no rational explanation for that decision. As long as we don't have to face Bama in the playoffs, this can easily be a no harm no foul situation, aside from the immediate anger over such an unnecessary loss (at least in regulation). If we do have to face them again, then I guess we can look forward to another Rube Goldberg-esque loss as if in adherence to some natural phenomenon that scientists have yet to discover. Call it crimson matter.

We have a very talented receiving corp. We just have a moron OC who won't use their talents to their utmost ability. We have a moron OC who thinks tight ends are tall lanky tackles and that blocking is their only responsibility. We have a moron OC who brings in the 4th string tailback to be the principal on not one but two of of the final offensive plays of the final 2 series. We have moron OC who on 3rd and long throws the ball to the check down BEHIND THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE!!! THE DC also has alot to answer for but a least he righted his end for the most part in the 2nd half.
we lost this game because of the difference in QB play but I’m sure no one wanted to ask that question- Gunner made too many bad decisions which talent cannot overcome
Most of you guys are idiots.
ESPN article never mentioned the fact Bama failed to score in the 2nd half. They were all about how Bama is back on top. Yes they won and I would not call it an upset. Football games hinges on a few plays ( ask Tenn and Ohio St about missed FG). I think Kirby should have kicked the FG, may or may not have eventually won the game after it would be tied but it did become the difference 🤷♂️
Secondary needs to learn how to tackle. Runners look like a pinball bouncing off these dudes, especially Everette.
Take the points when time is short.
Play with intensity the whole game. The Defense had no time to rest in first half.
Poor play and coaching decisions.
Usual wide open pass drops.
Note that Todd Monken was offensive coordinator when Georgia won both championships. When are we getting a good OC? Georgia: where great recruiting classes go to die.
Still hurtin….but the good I saw, is that loss was one hellofa protein shake to spur the growth of our pups as well as our big Dawgs….hats off to Chauncey for claiming "Stud Dawg RB" status..Nate will be close behind and the competition is on. The "HURT" will keep us jacked for Kentucky, Auburn, Ole Miss and The swamp creatures….then whip TX and we'll have another chance to surf The Tide……GOOOOO Dawgs, Sicem
