Warning my comment is way off topic. But I need some help Please. I sure hate to ask this but have found it very necessary. Can anyone tell me how to put a block on another poster ?? I don’t like having to do that, but I come to this site to Enjoy being with my Cyber Dawgs Friends more like family.
But I have a person who seems to take great glee in elevating my BP which I don’t need. Not crying for sympathy but I honestly DO have allot of med issues including two types of cancer which is only the tip of the iceberg. I can get all the Stress I need from watching the daily news. I watch the Dawgs and support them to a degree for Enjoyment. That’s also Why I come here.
I feel I Know many of you even though I haven’t had the privilege, honor, and pleasure of meeting you in person. I try hard to get along with people here as best I can. But sometimes that’s not enough for Some people unfortunately.
Yes I have mental health issues as well as physical I’m not ashamed of that though I used to be. PTSD, Depression, Anxiety with occasional panic attacks. So I don’t want or need Added stress as I have plenty enough on my plate from the world at large and my health issues plus my wife’s health issues. Which and has allot of to.
This is a place of Comfort, Happiness, Humor, and Mystery wondering what’s gonna happen next with our Dawgs for me. Again I’ve made some wonderful and awesome friendships here for which I’m Very grateful.
To me there are Three ways you can talk to another person. 1) As if the other person is Above you and you are intimidated by them 2) As if the other person is Beneath you and you think you are superior to them 3) Across to the person as you are equals
I always Try to go by number 3 as in God’s eyes we are All the same. And my parents always told me and my brothers You are just as good as Anyone, but You are no better than Anyone. I took their message to heart and have tried hard to live by it.
I have plenty of failures and I’ve had my successes. I try not to belittle people here. But I confess I run pretty hot when people get Overly harsh and Overly critical of these still very young football players. NONE of us as fans feel any worse than the players do when they make a mistake (s) . Constructive and objective criticism is fine. But just laying into one of these young guys while hiding behind a keyboard is wrong. I Know Nate Frazier was utterly crushed when he fumbled, now we Know that young man wishes a thousand timex over that he could go back and change that. KS disciplined him by benching him in a priority game. Not sure if I agree with that tactic but KS is the HC. Same thing for Talyn Taylor We Know that young man has probably had nightmares about that drop. One thing to criticize but bash him to pieces ? Nah !! Same for Gunner Stockton he’s doing everything he can to please his Coaches, his Teammates and Us the fans.
I’ve made plenty of mistakes in MY lifetime, many still haunt me. But haven’t we All if we admit it ? Let him without sin cast the first stone. Now let me pass this Dawgs hat around and Yall be generous now !! 🤣 But back to serious this is the first time Ever since I’ve been on here that I’ve felt the need to put a block on another poster. But it’s a Real need.
So if any of you know the steps to block someone please advise this very technically illiterate old man on the how to !! Thanks in advance !! Go Dawgs !!
Hope our Dawgs put a sure nuff whup up on the Cats !! Should be a physical and challenging game but I believe and hope the Dawgs will get a very solid victory. Hopefully some issues they’ve had can be clarified even more and fixed. Onward and Forward Dawgs !!

navydawg………..I have had problems at times with people I would like to block but it's an opinion forum so all have a say good or bad. It now runs off my back and I move on. I am very sorry about your mental and physical issues…truly! You and I have commented back and forth before. I hope you can overcome the negative feedback you are experiencing. You are a good contributor on this site. I read most of what you post. Great Dawg fan. I do not know much about blocking so can't help with that. I can cheer on our Dawgs with you though. UGA needs a big W tomorrow. GO DAWGS!!!

But this person and I are beyond simple disagreement so I think it’s in BOTH our best interests for me to put him on auto ignore. I’ve been on this site a pretty good while and have never had to use this option before. Thanks again !!
Thank You SO Much !! I always appreciate your well thought out and positive comments. You shared a bit of your bio a while back and that made me respect you all the more !! You’ve seen some of the very best of our Dawgs and some of the very worse.
I place high value on your opinions and advice. God Bless You to my good Brother !! Maybe our Dawgs will rise up from the bitter loss to go on to huge success. Like You I’ve been watching them to long to quit on them now !!
I’ll say this though You know, I know and Most of us know these young players take a loss much more to heart than we as fans do. It’s gotta be very tough to work that hard, see teammates injured and come up on the short end. I know a Loss is a Loss but it’s not like they Crushed our Dawgs they only loss by three points. They’ll regroup starting with KY and make a strong come back !! Thanks again for your sage advice and compassionate words of encouragement . It means Allot to me.
That is very unfortunate navydawg. Praying for your health, physically and mentally. It’s a shame that people can’t express their opinions without being trampled on by others who don’t agree, thinks your opinion is irrelevant, or just wants to troll or bully people. I had that problem on another site today.
Thanks my Brother !! I always enjoy and respect your comments. You and Many others know Allot about the game of football, much more than I do. But You and they are confident but not arrogant. I don’t care to associate with “ know it all's”.
None of us are infallible though apparently a few people Think they are. I don’t mind criticism of our young players but I don’t see or appreciate the point of trying to demean and belittle them. I’ve never seen you do that. And the people that I truly appreciate here are very similar to You in attitude. Like you they realize these kids are still very young playing an Extremely challenging sport where one or two mistakes can mean a loss in front of thousands of screaming fans.
I tend to hold the Coaches more responsible and accountable because they are older more mature men who are supposed to be veterans of the sport. Most of them draw Very nice salaries and it’s Their job to have these young men prepared to achieve victory. I’ve been both a leader and a follower in my years and it’s easy to cast blame on the people in the ranks. But a True Leader should be and will be the first to accept responsibility and accountability. Thanks again for you’re kind and compassionate words of encouragement. It means allot to me.
