yeah. Refs missed two calls in one play. First, it seemed pretty clear the QB actually broke the plain before the punch out. Then after ruling it was a fumble, ruled our guy was down when he clearly was not. Incompetence reigns again.

The announcers were trying to will it as a TD for Auburn. Their bias was very annoying to listen to. The Auburn Defense roughed Gunner numerous times but only got called twice, one of which was the Deliberate Targeting. And the announcers “ felt sorry for the Auburn defender” never mind that he almost tore Gunner’s head off !! Not a pretty win but I’ll sure take it !! Go Dawgs !!

The fumble was forced by CJ Allen before Wilson got to the ball. The lack of clarity from the camera makes it hard to see with the black gloves and ball blending but you can watch CJ’s arm come in at the trajectory to make contact a fraction before the ball touches the goal line. Everyone is focused on Wilson and that’s causing the controversy but Allen was there first before the ball crossed.

Upon further review, I think the QB lost control of the ball before it crossed the plain. BA showed in slow motion on post game show. It was a fumble. Therefore, should have been a TD for the Dawgs.
