AP Poll Top 25 for Week 8 sees Georgia football climb heading into pivotal Ole Miss contest

But beating Ole Miss at home will be no easy task. The Rebels enter the game with an unbeaten record, one of just two SEC teams without a loss to this point.

Georgia got off to a terrible start but somehow still managed to get an SEC road win against Auburn, the Dawgs’ ninth straight victory in the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry. Great win. I don't think the environment could have been any better than it was for Bama but the defense was lost/flat for the first half. The coaching staff has made great halftime adjustments, but have been out-schemed/out-couched consistently for the 1st half of games this year, and that's both sides of the ball. I personally would rather hear about how they plan to fix poor game planning than about fan support and crowd noise.
I need to see injury report. UGA is beat up pretty badly. Ole Miss squeaked by Wash. State but are a force to be reckoned with..IMO. UGA can do it….they are plucky as we all know. They never give up. Dawgs will likely be favored in this home game.
opened as 6.5 favorites
I believe going forward that #5 Thomas will get more targets, and it will be a big help downfield. It seems that teams have really repped certain plays based on what they see on film from the Dawgs D for first half points, but then the Dawgs figure them out and stop the bleeding for the most part in the second half of games. I think the more this D plays together the better it will be, ditto for the OL. Yeah, the Dawgs got some breaks in the first half of the regular season, and I think the young team playing through adversity will pay dividends. I watched a lot of the Ole Miss game and they ain't all that.
What do you mean physical, draining, and emotional win? They only played half a game
Coaches or reporters? Personally, I'm going with people that know their ass from a hole in the ground.
We need a two week break to give these Linemen a chance to heal!!
