âI donât know. I wish I knew. I mean, I would tell you if I did,â Smart said. âI asked the team that question afterwards. Weâve got to get it solved because itâs hard when youâre this style of team to play catch-up. Itâs not really who we are. But weâve got to get better.â

Excellent comments and point of view on your part !! And I believe allot of Truth as well. I can see how teams Would see this as Their championship of sorts. You know that Same thinking is gonna eventually bite our nemesis Bama. I’d like for our Dawgs to get another shot at them in the SECCG.
Sort of be a repeat version of Auburn some years ago when they beat our Dawgs during the regular season but our Dawgs come back and Crushed them in the SECCG !! Man I’d dearly Love to see Dawgs do that to Bama !! Go Dawgs !!
That IS an excellent point. I forget sometimes, myself....just how hard UGA and Kirby Smart are being hunted by everybody else in the league. Heck....I'm sure they probably share information and scouting reports on the Dawgs.
I know that....cause that's how I felt about Florida, Tennessee and Alabama during various periods...over the last 50 years or so. Lol
Kirby says..."Ain't no fun…when the rabbit's got the gun."
Go get em boys...wear your Dress Reds. Them Rebels is a comin'. Lol
Flashback moment from the Goff years…
"We gotta work hard on gettin' butter"
That's the problem. He used the wrong verb. Smh...Just like a Moultrie Grad. Lol...or, is it a noun? My school wasn't much better.Lmao
"We gotta FOCUS hard on gettin' better"____Lol...there, I fixed it.?
Now...let's try Kirby's...
"Better Never Rests"...."We don't work to beat Somebody....we work to beat Everybody "...."Either you're Elite...or, you're not."_____All Kirby all the time.
Yeah....I get Kirby. And so do all of his coaches and players....or, they leave. NIL/TP is gonna wind up being the best thing that ever happened for UGA [etal.]. Programs no longer have to carry dead weight. Cutting a scholarship player has become much easier...imo.
I learned something a long time ago, that I keep in sight when . "You don't know...what you don't know, till you know what you didn't".____Lol...Me
It was a college indoc course on study habits and learning how to learn, that opened my eyes and my mind....IMO.......>
The way I see it....in all previous seasons, UGA had a healthy roster mix of veterans and underclassmen and recruits. The COVID year prolonged the inevitable drop-off in experienced top-level talent available to teach the younger guys.
That's why it's taking longer for not just The Dawgs.…but, everbody....to start hitting on all cylinders. If you started out fast this year....you probably had a premature sumpn-ation.
Slow and steady WINS this race. Kirby knows what he's doing. He plays the long game at the expense of instant gratification and glorification from the fans & Media. The most potent of all Rodent Poisons. Lol
