Prayers for his full and speedy recovery. UGA does have access to the best medical pros in the country. So that’s a blessing for him right there to start the process.

So is Rodrick Robertson still on the team? He is not listed on the injury reports and yet, he has not played one snap yet this season. He must be under Kirby’s doghouse or on his way out the door.

It's too bad about K. Jones but it looks like the O-line will be finally be intact.

IMO....Best Running Back Room UGA's had, since the early '80's.

Reps have to be distributed fairly.....based on performance in practice, proficiency with the offensive scheme, and blocking ability. THAT, I would infer from some of Kirby's statements over the years.

How do you divide up 40 to 50 running plays....between 5 or 6 backs & 2 or 3 speedy WR's that can also tote.the rock more than capably on sweeps.....AND....keep everybody happy?. I don't know.…but, Kirby does it.

I think the guys know and understand.…and, trust the process. That's why they stay and battle for reps. Each rep at UGA is another brick in the Golden Road to the NFL. Lol

I don't know why Phillips & Robinson aren't playing.…but, I guarantee you.…they know. And, whatever it is.…WILL get fixed. As long as they stay committed.

Looking forward to seeing both, during the 2nd half of the season. They are too talented and valuable to tie down to the bench. Unless they've lost the will to compete and win...and became complacent. I hope not. Phillips has something special....imho.

    Go Dawgs!!!

Another foot or ankle injury—I think we have more than the law allows. Wishing you a quick return, Kyron.

best room since the 80s? 2014 Gurley, Chubb, Michel, and Keith Marshall say hi

NIL payents should be suspended if a player cannot play on the field. I suspect that in a growing number of cases that players choose to malinger instead of playing on the field. Not necessarily in this case, but in general.

I'll see those and raise you a Herschel Walker. Lol...and McCarthy...and Tate....and Terrell....and Hurst....Yada, yada Those backs toted the rock 30 to 40 times per game out of The Dooley Power I. Everybody in the league tried to stop em.

But....yeah, Gurley and Chubb made a pretty good team. So did Chubb and Michell in '17. Then, Swift, White, McIntosh, Cook and so forth. Good backs....all of em.

But, as for sustained superior performance over a decade from the RB Room....I'm still taking the '80's.

that wasn’t the statement I took issue with. You said the current room is the best since the 80s. I would say it’s the best since 2014. Plus was everyone you mentioned playing at the same time?

I was being slightly hyperbolic with that statement...Lol.

After thinking about it a while...something jumped out at me. I don't know how true or relevant it is....but, it seems like the Dawgs have had more injuries in the Running Back Room over the last 20 years....than any time, during the 20th Century.

Lol.…that sounds hyperbolic, as well, huh?. But, there's a lot of truth in it, too...imo. "Featured Backs" had more carries on average, back in the day. Either, they had fewer injuries....or they played hurt more than today's backs....or....I just remember things wrong. Go figure.

But....i will say this....I don't remember UGA ever having 5 or 6 healthy backs, that could start for practically any school in the Country. And....they all have experience and they can block, catch, run for power, run for speed...etc..

Maybe....I should've said, "they have the healthiest, most versatile Running Back Room I've seen at UGA...ever!". Lol...how bout that?.

    Go Dawgs!
