Gunner did all that and lost his lead receiver in the first drive !! And him ( Gunner) playing injured !! One INT so far after 7 games. 319 total combined yds. passing & rushing in This one !! Gunner and our Dawgs might not be the glitzy and flashiest Team but they Sure Are the Toughest Never Give Up Team !! And I Love that !!
I’m switching back and forth between the Bama vs TN game and TX vs KY game and tell you quick I’d take Gunner over Arch anytime !! He ain’t looking so hot. Actually quite cold !! 🥶
Gunner is an alpha, Beck wasn’t. He’s a player’s player. It’s not hard to see, the team feeds off it,

Gunner is a leader. He has grit, toughness, and a will to win. He’s a football player. He’s the guy you want to be in the huddle with. And he looks pretty talented. It’s a good thing we have him because our D is a total mystery. No pressure on QB and coverage can be nonexistent at times. DBs never play the ball. They seldom look back for the ball. Safeties do not close on passes over the middle. It just weird to watch other teams do all those things but then watch us not do any of those things. It looks like coaching failure to me, but maybe our DBs just aren’t really good players. It’s one or the other.

Stockton is playing great, but can we not have to bring up Beck, please? He is not relevant here until if we play against him during the playoff.

The real Beck showed out, pouting-pointing fingers-dragging teammates down instead of lifting them up! I was glad when he quit Athens, Gunner is a lead by example guy, exactly what we needed. This team would be 4-3 under CB at best. Go dawgs!
