I swear yall try to make a story out of anything. Who cares what is said on social media. Just a random opinion

Let's be fair, some UGA fans went after one of our kids last year for doing the same thing after the Ole Miss game.

BAH! - gotta a QB, don’t need him. Also a backup and the backup’s backup with another highly thought of QB coming in.

    We good!

Didn't Jake Pope get roasted by a lot of people on this page for the same thing last year and his head coach publicly called him an idiot? Now he plays for UNLV and seems to be doing pretty well.

OMG lets not make a big deal about this. Dudes just old competitors that get together after the game. I think it a positive compared to smack talk and unsportsman like behavor

Good grief! This is one reason I hate social media. Friends just being friends! Yeah, I’m an old fart! Go Dawgs!

Pope got roasted for jumping up and down like a teenaged girl when he saw his friends. If Pope was good enough to play for UGA he'd still be playing for UGA.

So it’s the level of his happiness or his overall reaction in seeing old friends that determines if his coach, the one who loves his players, should publicly call him an idiot?

Let’s be clear, I am a fan of Smart but that was a really, really bad reaction as was that of folks on here.

And I guess if AD Mitchell was good enough to play for Georgia he would have stayed?

Are you seriously comparing AD Mitchell as a player and his situation to Jake Pope's? Did you forget that AD is from TX and had a small child there? Not to mention TX throwing money at AD to poach him. NONE of that applies to Pope.

I have no idea why CKS said what he said. I don't disagree that what CKS said was surprising and not what we expect to hear from CKS.

My comment regarded your comment that Pope was roasted on Dawgnation by other UGA fans. I don't remember a whole lot of "roasting". I didn't roast him. I did call into question the reaction he had. That was not a good look for any CFB player.

Safe to say that if Pope had AD Mitchell's skills and ceiling the former Buford GA player would still be UGA Bulldog. The fact that UGA brought in 3 S's after (before?) he transferred (was let go) to CFB powerhouse UNLV tells you what his prospects were for playing a significant role at UGA.
