I started reading this article and had to stop. I'm so tired of reading about player's agents and NIL offers and counter offers I just couldn't finish. I think players should get some kind of compensation (besides a world class education) but I'm sick of the idea all these players are just putting up a bid sheet. Kirby Smart has won an average of 12 games per season at UGA since 1997.

I had no idea…very well played even if my numbers are a little different, @JeffSentell

    1997 10-2 1998 9-3 1999 (asst) 8-4 2005 (rb coach) 10-3 2016 to 2024 105-19 2025 2/3of a season 7-1

149 wins 13.6 years…I calculate around 11 per season but close enough. I’ll be da mmmd. Now that indeed is a fun fact…Kirby was meant to coach!

personally I think Vandy is a one and done team. If they didn’t bring the QB back then they are back to being Vandy. Why did Landon leave then? Also Lea will wind up somewhere else. Vandy is just a stopping place on a coach’s career path

Kirby pursues #1 QBs often, including Eason, Fields, Manning, now Curtis. The funny thing is, not one has won anything for Kirby. Kirby should abide by Coach Richt’s rule on this topic. “I only want young men who want to play for Georgia, here.”
