Off topic and maybe I missed it but has Texas been in Athens before ? I don’t remember but that’s not a good reference lol .
I’m pretty sure this is the first time Texas has played in Athens. Also, I’m pulling for Oklahoma this weekend to beat Bama. Not to get us into the SEC CG, but to “roll” the Tide out of the top 4. Personally, after watching all conference champs get whacked last year in the playoffs (and us losing Beck), I’ll be more than happy to sit out the SEC CG. It would give us at least a week of rest and I think the championship affects our play against GT. Last year is a good example of where we may have been looking ahead and nearly lost to GT in 8 OTs. Let’s Beat Texas and then give 100% focus to the Bugs while letting Bama and A&M slug it out. Go Dawgs!!!

We have never hosted the Longhorns in Athens. The public's perception of UGA .IMO, is a team that was king of the hill in '21, '22, and '23, but is losing its grip on that elite designation. I had some doubts too, especially after the Bama game, but as you folks and I know, this is a much improved team over the first of the year. I can envision this team going a long way in the playoffs even if we don't win the conference. GO DAWGS

He's almost 50 now, he's still way ahead of e'rbody.
