Apparently it was intimidatingly for his Longhorn players.

I get so tired of seeing this guy on the sidelines. Lots of celebs, but he get's the lion share of airtime. And he's so very arrogant. Ya'll can thumbs down all you want. Don't care for him or his opinion.

Don't know that have even one acquaintance who gives the tiniest of rips what MMc thinks, says, or does. I think I just

assume break to another Aflac commercial than have the camera focused on him walking the sideline!!

No problem with McConaughey, he is the "face" of The Texas Longhorns….and Bevo, and that burnt orange leather jacket… I like his film work, especially "A Time To Kill"…. and in "Fools Gold" he's sportin the only tattoo I'd ever get if I ever got a tat…nicest mermaid I've ever seen! He's the financial reason Texas will always have a team of 5 stars and be able to attract/pay a big time replacement for Sark when he leaves for the NFL.

Does this urban cowboy even have a high school diploma? A GED? Who cares what he thinks or doesn't think about Georgia? They just kicked his team's little hindies.

MMc is a very high profile fan. In a world that exists for clicks and content he is an opportunity for news. His comments showed some class. He must hate UGA. UGA blocks his team's way the way AL blocks UGA's way.

The TX administration and boosters will have to make a decision soon. TX has a soft team because they have a soft coach.

Based on what I saw nary a water bottle was thrown.

“You can have 30,000 more people but if the rituals and the cheers aren’t in unison, it doesn’t... It’s not as intimidating. McConaughey said. “And yeah, they were happy I was there, but they were also giving me straight horns down and going we’re gonna whip your you know tonight, you know, so it was a good"

Agree with @UGADad20 …. his comments did show class….he was basically saying that although Texas stadium has more seats, we were louder and just as intimidating (complimenting our fans)….and he also seemed to have a little bit of fun with our fans.

Seeing him on TV the past couple of games we played them, I was not enamored….but after this article, maybe a little more so.

Great actor (favorite is A Time to Kill as mentioned below)

….and, as I always say, passion for college football is always a good thing, even if it is sometimes misplaced!! 🤣😎

We did what we were supposed to do…Nuff said!

    Also, Great finishing line, Connor!

McConaughey noted that Sanford Stadium didn’t have the greatest reputation of being an intimidating place to play. But after experiencing it firsthand, McConaughey thought the energy was more than alright (alright, alright).😆

    Go Dawgs!

My sister asked me to take his picture if I saw him. I told her I was going to see the game, not him. Did he think the Georgia fans were going to cheer him and throw roses at his feet? Go Dawgs! Horns down!

Hey Connor, I know this article is about Mathew's thoughts about his first visit to Sanford but just in case you didn't know Bama snapped Georgia's home winning streak earlier this year………..oh wait, I see you mentioned that, I'll be darned! My bad, carry on Captain Relevant…(-:

Seriously, Conner, why don't you move on to a job that you like? Your dislike for UGA comes out in almost every article you write. You redefine passive aggressive. Your jabs get old. How is the UGA loss relevant at this point? How is it relevant to the article?
