As Kirby said, to each his own. As a fan, I’m glad we don’t have to hold our breath anytime an opening comes up. We know Kirby is here for the long haul, while Lane moves on to the next shiny toy ever few years.

saban says recruiting is better in Louisiana than Florida? I find that very hard to believe. A lot more schools in Florida to compete against, no doubt. But, theres also A LOT more High School talent in Florida than Louisiana..

If Kiffin is happy at Ole Miss, enjoy your big raise and the team you've built. You are alot closer to a championship than either LSU or Florida right now. So build on that. There aren't that many great coaches to go around, so if I'm Kiffin I cash the new checks and know both Florida and LSU have lesser coaches. That's my take at least.

Sorry Floriduh, Gainesville is a shitehole, no place to raise a family. Kiff gonna listen to the Baton Rouge mafia’s offer and then it will be up to the Grove collective to convince him to stay for the same money. For what it’s worth the roster blue chip count at LSU is 4th in the SEC with an incredible 72% ratio…vs 61% at FU.

I could care less..... none of this is DawgNation news!!!! Go Dawgs!!!!

Sounds like he is leaving. If he was staying, why would he put recruits, the current team, and potential portal adds in the dark through the Egg Bowl? I can't figure out a reason why he would do that if he intended to stay in Oxford. It isn't about the money, so something has caused him to make a risky delay. Florida seems like the most logical outcome for several reasons, but that is just a guess.

(Saban was ultimately hired to coach Alabama on Jan. 4, 2007, with super agent Sexton negotiating a now-famous contract that had LSU guarantee him he would be the college football’s highest-paid college football coach if he led the Tigers to a national championship.) Why would LSU guarantee that if he was coaching at Bama? Seems writers don’t proof read what they post.

what blows my mind is how the media is so fixated on what he does. Who cares, move on. There is a Tennessee podcaster that’s all he talks about. He is living in that guys head😂

Regardless of the outcome, Kiffin will most likely become the highest paid coach in college ball ($15 mil is my guess). Florida has a treasure trove of in-state talent as well as Louisiana but if Ole Miss matches the offer what will Lane do? Would imagine there is more pressure at the bigger schools to win a natty or else. Just make sure you get a ridiculous buyout contract.

Kiffin in Gainesville doesn’t scare me but concerns me. He’s a different guy now than he was early in his career.

"1SICemDAWGS1"—I have no idea why someone would vote down your post. The number of high quality athletes that come out of Florida is 10 times that of Louisiana—plus you have IMG there.

Read discussions are centering around guaranteed NIL compensation for the roster - "above-the-cap" NIL as one of the most important issues. LSU reportedly promising investments exceeding $25 million.

Excellent article @MikeGriffith…with that said, if all things are even - monetarily speaking, I believe I would stay at Ole Miss. I would certainly think the stability is better. But who knows with this cat, can remember when he left UTK - they were burning couches, rioting etc. - couldn't happen to a more deserving fan base.

One thing I will say, he's certainty good for CF - closest thing to Spurrier since left.

Exactly, he is a Spurrier clone, that's why if he chooses to leave, he will go to FU. Plus, he has already been an HC in floriduh once so he is already very familiar with the recruiting landscape there. My assumption is FU over LSU
