@BigDawg747 All signs point to LSU at this juncture. Would Kiffin be more dangerous in Baton Rouge? Probably.

@Eastmandawg I'd agree with you, he should stay, but Saban and Jimmy Sexton are advising him to take LSU job, per report out of Baton Rouge.

@Stiffneck You nailed it, it's all about the guaranteed NIL money, and Kiffin showed he knows how to recruit effectively out of the portal. What will be interesting is how many Ole Miss players he brings with him and how fast he can contend for titles if it is the LSU job.

Exactly. The state of Florida (more diluted for sure) has significantly more blue-chip talent than the state of Louisiana.

Nice article, Mike. I get that long-form content is tougher, but brother…proofread.

I agree, and I posted that Mike, with only LSU as the big time program in Louisiana, it definitely makes it much easier to keep in state talent at home (but now with NIL you never know where they will end up in college..highest bidder usually). Whereas you have UF, Miami, FSU, UCF, just to name a few, that are recruting a lot of the same players in Florida, not just 1 major college as is the case in Louisiana. But, fact remains there is more top HS talent produced overall in Florida on a yearly basis than Louisiana, and its not even close. If not, and there were more HS talent in state, LSU wouldnt have out of state players on their roster, especially some from florida, Georgia and several other states lol but then again, ALL of the Florida schools rosters arent made up entirely of Florida HS recruits either. Stil many more 5* HS players have come from Florida vs Louisiana in the past 5-10 years. A much bigger pool of HS players to choose from in Florida, not the case with LSU recruiting its home state. P.S if LSU doesnt start producing top teams again, and soon, they'll have in state competition..from Tulane, Louisiana, ULM.. lol

I understand that Kiffin has to look out after himself and his family. But how do people at the next stop take him when he says: Ok we’re All in on this together!!” There is little to No loyalty left in CFB these days.

Be Thankful for Kirby hopefully he’s happy enough to stay at UGA for years to come.
