Dude....Ray was a helluva quarterback. So is Gunner...imo. I saw Goff play at Moultrie in a HS Playoff game, back in the early '70's. He looked like a man among boys, running over people and had a cannon for an arm.

I was thinking of his coaching days. Oh yeah he was a great player !! I was just kiddin !! Ole Ray is a DGD !!
He was a master at running the option pitch too..just when you thought you had him, he'd flip it to his RB at the last possible second, and usually ended up for a nice gain. Or he'd read the take on the RB, fake a pitch, keep it and get several yards. Matt Robinson also had a cannon for an arm, he came in on a lot of the 3rd and long downs for the Bulldogs.
The defense needs to get off the field quick. If they play prevent and let this team just move the ball all over the field, the crowd is going to start filing out. And it's not fair to the guys that get to come in and play finally.
Speaking of HS playoffs my ole HS West Laurens defeated Oconee County 32-6 to advance to the third round and face Jenkins HS ( they are gonna be Tough). My RB Ty Cummings scored 3 TDs one was a 90 yd run on the opening kick off !! I’m sure hoping he’ll get an offer from Kirby and Bobo !!
This is the last game Pugliski will play for uga in. I honestly believe that. I would rather see him throw 3 incompletions just to see if he will throw it, instead of making him pick up 1st downs on 1 throw per series. So kirby, please stop saying you have to run your offense. Because you are not.
