- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Exactly, thats the reason they were recruited, and signed by UGA.
"Next man up!" means exactly that. Not, "Well who might possibly be able to try to run some potential plays to sort of see if maybe they can do their job." C'mon boys, tighten that chin strap, realize this is YOUR chance to shine, and go kick some tail. Go Dawgs!
Week after week the TEs get a low grade… but THEY were not the problem. In fact, most of these world-class assets did a good job blocking and complained nary a bit about their under-utilization. I'd suggest CR add Coaching as multiple categories going forward when he does his grading. The lack of TE productivity was on the coaches and GS, nothing else (esp. against what has largely been a poor GT defense).
I'll stick with my mantra from earlier this season: we do NOT have a talent issue!
The coaches (CKS esp.) need to work this out… and fast :)
Has there been a drop off by Daylen Everette or is it due to scheme? It just seems like he is continually giving up easy catches by playing with huge cushion. Not sure if it’s based on the call but seems like he’s also allowing WRs to run across his face for medium/large gains. Any insight?
No there hasn't. He is still a great corner that you hardly hear a thing about for 95% of the game. Occasionally when you are facing the other team you are going to give up a catch. The cushion is a scheme thing where he is responsible for the entire deep third and is playing it in front, that they just happen to.have the correct play call at that time. Happens to every team in the country at some point. He is still playing at a great level. Just a common case of a few plays sticking out that overshadow all the great stuff that isnt recognized or seen while watching live.
Play calling wasnt desirable early. Still were countless guys open doenfield .the play calling will always "look" bad when the plays are not actually being executed. Gunner was horrendous. Plain and simple. Hesitant to throw to open guys, going to the wrong guys when he did, not seeing the field. Whatever he should have done, he did the opposite against tech. Thr oline suffered injuries, but none of them played well. The receivers and te didn't separate consistently enough and it was the worse game of the year by far for the TE group.blocking. not.sure where this article got that they played well. They did not. It was a complete effort of poor execution and play.
I do not care one bit about calling any coach out. I did not like.bobo game.plan early. It also still had more than enough winners for us to.run the score up. People need to reserve judgment until they see how many plays we're winners and should have worked had the players done their job while watching the all22 film. Watching live does not show about 60% of the field on most plays. It also happens too quickly while following the ball for anyone to notice everything. The plan could have been better. It was still good enoufh they should.have scored at least 4 touchdowns and that's being conservative. There were challenges. Guys out, guys who got injured all that definitely plays into it all. Bottom line is the entire team has to be better. Coaches have to be better, but like it always does every game it comes down to how each guy performs their task. They've been better all year. It was a rivalry game and we weren't the only one to show how things happen. Just have to see how they bounce back.
They have to be better. They werent the only ones. It at no point was solely their fault. The entire team (at least on offense did not play well). It also happens sometimes when especially with younger teams. Kirby can say they aren't young all he wants. It doesn't change the fact that they still are. One season doesn't make you time tested veteran with several years of development and knowledge. They have to do better as a whole. There were plenty of older players that were bad. Te had the worst game of the year blocking by far, wr as well. Gunner was the real.problem. too much to go into, but in short he was the worst he has been all year. Everything he should have done, he did the opposite. Missed tons of opportunities for positive and huge plays. It was a performance that only.he can fix.unless we can start getting guys to stay in the program longer and not early declare for the draft this will be the norm. He days of having an entire roster of multi year starters and multi year heavy contributors at every position are over. We get effected more than most with how many guys we send to the nfl. Oline is where it will show the most. No matter what we want some guys will not be ready. Oline is a position that takes longer than any to learn and develop. The majority didn't even use to see the field until year 3 or 4 and many playing until year 5. Not talking about the occasional future all pro nfl guy. Having to play guys before they actually get a chsnce to be ready we will see ups and downs. Its up to kirby and the team to limit fhat and get the best of them moving forward. Things will happen especially in years like this one were we we were always due for a rebuild after losing so much over the years. Teams go thru cycles. U build up then get a year or two run then start over. The new age has changed things and we are far ahead of 99% of cfb. All can do is acknowledge where we are as a program and watch the growth.
I appreciate the insight! Thank you!
DBs - A 🤣😂🍩
Riley you’re blind. Everrette had a dismal performance. Dude can’t cover out routes or slants to save his life and he was giving up quarter mile cushions on 3rd and short. On long posts he’s a DPI machine. Aguero also contributed to poor DB play with a boneheaded DPI that led to 3 points.
